When getting hit with strong moves or combos, players will drop extra Stars for every 7% they take after the initial hit. For example, dealing 14% before they exit the Hitstun or Tumble state means they'll drop 3 Stars.

Fighting over the stars will now be much more frantic and close with this change, rather than feeling like a slow tug of war.

The same change has also been made to Shenron.

Galactic Nova now includes a special animation if you fulfil these criteria:
- You win the match by KOing the opponent with an upward attack.
- Nova has been summoned.
