- No changes. "Updated" so that the mod manager won't say it is out of date.

Update: 17 Sep, 2023 @ 4:56pm

- Supports auto-bombardment from Empire Crowmen's Nan-Gau Grenades (Onyx Crowmen RoR). Easily try it out in a quick skirmish vs AI. :)

Update: 23 Jul, 2023 @ 5:53pm

- This mod now correctly differentiates between your flying units that "fire whilst moving" and units that have to stop to fire. Units that fire whilst moving will no longer periodically stop to use their ranged weapons.

- Fixed a bug that caused friendly aerial support orders to be canceled if the unit they were supporting gained stalk. This fix is especially important if giving Coatls aerial support orders. (Big thanks to @Valour for the detailed bug report and video showing this bug, and for those who gifted me DLC including the Coatls DLC so that I could test things like this.)

- Fixed a bug that sometimes caused ranged flying units to not closely follow friendly units when given a support order.

Update: 20 Feb, 2023 @ 3:59am

Small improvement to targeting when bombarding moving targets.

Update: 20 Feb, 2023 @ 2:13am

- The beta feature for automatically unlocking units is now turned off by default. It is opt-in instead of opt-out. Unfortunately, I found that it had more false positives in some situations. I would rather have the default setting be more reliable. If you miss the automatic unlocks, you can turn them back on with configuration. If MCT is giving you trouble because it is currently in transition, you might prefer to use the text file configuration instead.

- Ranged flying units can now stop to fire their main weapon between bombardments. You can change this in the configuration if you wish. This currently affects all ranged units, sadly not differentiating between units with fire-whilst-moving and units without. I'm still looking for a good way to differentiate between them, since unit:has_attribute("fire_while_moving") doesn't seem to be working. Fixed in the 2023-07-23 update.

- Tweaked some of the default values (times between drops, when ranged units acquire enemy flying targets, etc). This won't affect existing configuration settings if you already have configuration set up.

- Other minor bug fixes.

Update: 7 Jan, 2023 @ 2:02pm

- Fixed a bug that was causing ranged units to lose their aerial pursuit orders sometimes if they started to fire-at-will at a different target.

- In the options menu, "Save Camera Bookmark 8" will now appear as "Save Bookmark 8 / Aerial Pursuit." I'll probably change it to "Save Camera 8 / Aerial Pursuit" in the next update since that seems clearer. Note that if you are using a language other than English, this does not automatically translate. A translation submod would not need any script. It would just need to override text/db/aerial_pursuit_wh3_shortcut_localization__.loc

Update: 6 Jan, 2023 @ 6:46am

- This mod no longer treats fire-at-will targets as chosen targets for Aerial Pursuit. This makes picking Aerial Pursuit targets more intuitive for ranged flyers like Sky Junks.

- Fixed a bug that was preventing Aerial Pursuit orders from unlocking automatically while units were engaged in air-to-air combat.

- When setting hotkeys in the options menu, "Save Camera Bookmark 8" has been changed to "Save Bookmark 8 / Aerial Pursuit."

- Shortened the time your unit needs to be out of combat before it will resume aerial pursuit (if applicable).

Similar to the WH2 version, but with new features!
  1. You can now use either attack orders or move orders to specify targets before an Aerial Pursuit lock.

  2. Added support for automatically using bombard abilities wind-up times (Sky Junk, Knights of Immolation, and Arcane Phoenix). Feedback welcome.

  3. Auto-using bombards is turned on by default. Change the configuration if you wish to only use abilities manually.

  4. Beta-ish: If you give a new order to a locked unit, Aerial Pursuit attempt to automatically unlock so the unit follows your new orders. (It might fail ~15% of the time. You can still unlock manually, though, or try again. If you don't like the inconsistency or if it is giving you false positives, you can turn this off in the configuration.)

Also has some other minor changes to hopefully improve your experience.
