Added Balance Test gametype that allows you to select up to four different classes of ships and select from 0 to 15 of each type from any faction. Very useful for doing one on one testing of ships and I encourage people to use it to find broken ships, or find ships that do not behave correctly.

Adjusted some sounf FX and Venator Gun fire rate

Sixth release

AI should follow game rules now.

Major changes to sound encoding, should better support positional audio.
May need to make changes to volume balance and ranges for sounds including changes to maximum number of various sounds.
reassignment and reencondoing of all ship engine sounds to get more variety and address duplication and looping issues
specialized sound effects for subsystem deaths to provide audio queues of what was damaged

improved damage FX for subsystems

weapon fire strucutre standardize accross all weapons, significant improvements to visual registration of hits on most ships and more appropriate battle scars for the scale of weapons

anti missile behavior vastly improved

Missiles recieved major overhaul in terms of structure and variety, this will be on going as not everything was completed yet. some ranges may not be optimized yet and burst radii and damage are next to be addressed
all ships tweaked to change missle weapons

Fixed bug #666 with fighters not firing in squads as well as identifying a number of other weapon tweaks for firing arcs.

A few ships fixed or updated to address weaponry issues.

Broke AI to force it to build ships.

AI is much more aggressive and will move to resource areas with small fleets.

The AI will cheat and ignore build restrictions for its scalable ship list

Anti torpedo flak fixed

Updates to ISD II texture
Updates to Tractor beam textures (works as a short range ion cannon, will eventually target engine subsystems)
Updates to many Separetist ships textures and hardpoints

code to disable ships systems and play effect when hit by ion cannons and the "blue health" bar is depleted.

subsystems added to a lot of ships and attackable by fighters/bombers
Shield generator - reduce health regen rate
Fire Control - descrease accuracy
Sensors- significantly reduce sensor range
Engines- major reduction to movement
Hyperdrive- disables hyperspace
Bridge- reduction to turn rate, sensors and visual range, long delay before hypersapce
Reactor massive damage that may destroy ship (extremely slow regeneration) essentially ship is dead or blows up
