I think you used to (mabye still can) shoot the sniper's default hat off but it was pretty rare due to small hitbox for it.

there ain't nothin wrong with the hat...thats like saying theres somethin' wrong for being fancy. the hat is just awesome though does it come along with a new cigar?

@DetoxApsodite Luckily 'hatshots' don't do any damage. Though it would be neat if Valve implemented the mechanic of if a fully charged 'hatshot' connects then the player's equipped hat flys off and a little icon or something showed up in the killfeed about it.

I love the tophat, but that is an enormous hitbox!
