How does this work? i activated the mod, but the main menu theme remains the same.

The remixes aren't on Youtube, but you can find the original soundtracks of the games on Youtube.

Although I'm sure previewing the tracks would also impact your data usage. It's generally more efficient on internet data usage to have the music downloaded (e.g. this mod) than to stream it

Hey man, I am on a metered network and I don't want to download anything unless I know Ill use it. Is there a way where I can preview these tracks, like on a youtube video or something?

Yes, it cuts out after several minutes but not always, it is inconsistent.

Sometimes music menu songs just cut out - please check it out. Loving the songs variety that this mod brings.

Well.....I like your remixes, but don't like how this works so I'll pass....

@Uncle_D - Load screens are different. The profile selection (launchpad) screen appears instantly. You don't see a loading screen until you select and start loading your profile.

nope......I had a mod that loaded with the game once and changed all the load screens too...when it started

It only crashed the one time and has worked fine since, but it's just dumb to me, if it won't play when the game 1st comes on what's the use, and I'm not even sure that's ah fact, cause I had a mod like this before that changed the game music in ETS2 and IT came on while the game was loading so SCS ain't changed the coding for how both these sim loads i'm pretty sure cause they too much alike...

@Uncle_D - The default music is already loaded into memory when you start the game. It continues playing after you loaded your profile until you press "Drive". Once you escape back into the main menu you can hear the modded music. This has been the case for years. Here's proof from a mod description from 2015: https://ets2.lt/en/new-menu-music-3/

It is not a behavior that I can fix. You would have to ask SCS Software to do that. So I'm not giving a lazy excuse.

Maybe if you try the force_mods launch option it can work, but that disables the Mod Manager entirely, making it undesirable and I do NOT recommend it.

As for crashing your sim, it was most likely another mod or issue that caused that, because from my testing everything works fine.

Besides. once I picked my profile it was loaded on and logged in it should of start playing right then so don't use that lazy azz excuse bro....it's a BUG, so fix it! 1st time I loaded it froze up when the music tried to play and then crashed my sim

well then it's kinda stupid then not hear it till your about to leave..........you guys and these half ass mods and SCS and their half ass production are ah perfet match! SMDH

@Uncle_D - It's not a bug really. The game can't load modded music before you've selected your profile that has the mod enabled.

Still has some bugs, it won't play when you 1st start your sim, and load the truck, when you come back out it start playing, at least what it's doing in my sim and btw love the remixes but would like it to just start from the 1st load, the default stuff is still playing
