It really needs a touch up you can't reach realm divide at all, the bonuses for the added clans are pretty low and for some reason the philosopical buildings are named as weaponsmith or armoursmith

@Dante Switch your game language to english. Game doesnt recognize the names. Its been a thing since like...Rome 1 where the names dont automatically translate between language and just leave blank spaces.

For those crashing Once they take the first settlement as Shimazu ( Osumi ) Once you crash just relaunch game and continue campaign and end your turn ASAP and you'll be able to click it next time.

I get crashes when playing as the shimazu, when i capture the first Settlement, it crashes the game when i go to click into the settlement to build it up. THIS NEEDS LOOKING INTO ASAP, and i am not using any other mods, i have already checked all solutions.

I was wondering why I didn't hit the first prestige level in a chosokabe campaign. Conquered shikoku, kyushu and western half of the mainland and didn't even get the first level somehow. Turns out the the threshold for realm divide is set to 300 minimum and 1200 for realm divide to trigger. I'm not sure if it's even possible to reach the 1200 prestige value despite all the new provinces

Really interesting mod, but makes the end of turns, especially at the beginning of the game, very very lengthy. Also my game runs much smoother without it (on the campaign map). Both of that may just be due to my old CPU though.

I just used PFM manager to change to 12 TPY, reduce realm divide back to vanilla values (100, 75, 50, 25), and reduced fertility on some of the VF farm spam.

Now this is the perfect mod for me :D

Happy to teach anyone who needs to. It's pretty easy parameter editing once you find the right fields in PFM.

Yea I would love for there to be an in-between between this and vanilla. vanilla map has limited replayability and feels empty now that I’ve tried this mod. But this mod is too much… Kansai region is just wtf, castles are literally piled on top of each other. Also the economy balance is whack. Player can get rich very quickly by building up farms and hurtling on 12TPY. They should’ve reduced income to account for the extra towns.

Ideal version of the mod would remove a good ~20 towns (combined) around Owari, Kansai, and Kanto (Musashi / Kozuke area) because they just look ridiculous and you can barely move troops around there. Maybe remove 2-3 towns from Kyushu as well. But you keep the rest. I love how the modder did northern Japan and Shikoku, those added a lot of strategic depth to the game. But Kansai and Owari area are just completely ridiculous.

I don't know why people are saying that it does not work, it absolutely does. Yesterday I completed my Oda campaign which had me conquer 100 provinces and conquer Kyoto, I played on Hard (which was honestly not that hard so looking to ramp that up).

The only problem I had in my entire campaign was one particular settlement that the Ikko Ikki had west of Echisen, when I tried to auto resolve the siege and the game just crashed, I repeated this one more time and it instantly crashed again, I decided to keep on sieging until they gave up or stormed out to meet me and they did just that two turns later, after that I could take the settlement with no issues.

I combined this mod with the HD Models and Blood/gore etc.

My quirks with this mod is that there are just too many settlements, it's a grinding way to play and basically a war of attrition - everywhere. The base game seems kind of barebones and this is almost too much, something in between would be great.

Continuing from below…. It also doesn’t make sense historically. Owari was historically a high Kokudaka province (hence VF in vanilla) partially because of the size of the domain. But if you split it into 4 regions that shouldn’t quadruple its wealth. Like why is that tiny Ikko Ikki castle in Owari as rich as Kaga, which was historically the wealthiest domain in all of Japan and also represented in Vanilla as a very fertile province. But because Kaga wasn’t split into 4, I guess it’s effectively 1/4 the value of Owari? Makes no sense lol.

Great mod. Only criticism is mod author should’ve put more thought intro economic balance when splitting regions. It’s pretty easy to snowball as Hattori I found because literally every region around you is Very Fertile or Fertile. Very Fertile is basically equivalent of Gold Mine. Like the region of Kii, now that it’s been split into 4 VF regions regions and still is protected by mountain with only 1 pt of entry is just ludicrously good now. Fertile/Very Fertile farm domains were a rarity in Vanilla which gave them a scarcity value and made campaigns more interesting. Now they’re proliferated to hell lol.

Mod did not work. After deleting the the game and appdata folder and reinstalling the game, got this as the only mod, it shows up on the Creative Assembly launcher with an 'outdated' warning - the mod does not work. Creative Assembly keeps fucking up their older games royally. I had this mod working at some point, but it just no longer works.

Great mod, really spices up the game so far! Only problem I've faced is that it makes the late game very unstable for multiplayer; it tends to de-sync and cause an "incompatible versions" error in the late game when realm divide would normally happen. Anyone else face that issue too?

The mod is great, BUT I've encountered problems and issues.

1. The AI loves to stack much of their army. Likely with the combination of mods I may have been using, I've seen the AI stacked their units on one area, causing the game's performance to suffer later in the game.

2. Likely the combination with another mod, the AI loves spamming the Market building line with no repercussions.

3. There is too much Garrison units. While it reduces the need to have actual units to garrison the castles, this also makes rebel units to near useless. Even a FULL STACK of Rebel units can't take out the Level 3(?) Castle. Probably can take out a level 2 and 1, but not a level 1 or ones occupied by some force.

4. Sometimes the Awaji Province has a unit get stuck on an unwalkable part of the island. This often have rebels getting stuck here.

5. Often, Goto Islands' port causes the trading node to Glitch out and disengage the trading ship.

careful downloading this, multiple people have reported it ruining the game after uninstalling. Took me months to convert the games files to the computers main original C: storage and delete a specific file that remains after installing this mod, making Shogun 2 not start.

found out how to make old mods work...

1. Delete the folder named "ui_cache" located within your C:\Users\"User"\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2
2. Delete the files located within your SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\34330 folder.
3. Re-download each mod using the Mod Manager.
Note: Appdata is a hidden directory so make sure you check the Hidden Items box on the view tab in file explorer.

@SPARTAN CORP a couple are changes the mod author decided to make.

the mod increases the fame needed for Realm Divide (RD) to 1200, effectively disabling it. The original value of 100 for RD is too little for this many provinces, but disabling it is a bit lame. USing a mod that changes the amount of fame needed for RD earlier on the load order doesn't cause crashes. This one: https://steamproxy-script.pipiskins.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=185084752 changes it to 300.

The mod also seems to make changes to the campaign map AI, paired with Unit mods (which I believe most people use) seems to cause 'mob' unit spam (and death stacks?), which is very *lame* to see. but loading an AI Mod like UAI earlier on the load order seems to work without crashing. I still have to test if it functions better this way.

I would just grab the CA mod tools myself and edit the offending parts, but I couldn't get it to work on Linux. It would be nice if someone helped on that end. 24 turns is excessive. =/

This mod has 3 critical bugs.

1. This mod makes it so your clan fame level so slow increase.
I'm on turn 50 and have 20 castles but clan fame still was "unknown".

2. There is a bug that can trade agreements exceed the sea trade limit(trade port). At some point, you can make unlimited sea trade agreements, but your trade income will not increase.

3. Each turns are 24 per year, not 12.

These are the results of my testing with this mod,
and I hope the modder solves this. or can someone else update this mod?

To make the mod work, you have to click on the green button "Subscribe", and then enable it on the total war launcher, there is a 'mod manager' button there.

mod doesn't work anymore? it doesn't crash the game but it just runs like vanilla.
