The only downside - WHY DEVS DOSN'T SANCTION IT?
There is no any "oversize logs' problem like in a broken UI Tweaks mod.
Seems like a good replacement.

You have to setup a keybind to toggle the mod in the mod's option menu (hit Esc, go to Mod Options, find Hide UI's section, set it up)

Oh cool! Thanks for the answer. The reason I was asking was because of a problem with the conflag staff . Perhaps I'll make a mod request thread for one that hides Sienna's first-person hand only when equipped with the conflag staff and charging the circle, assuming that combination of parameters is doable.

They are two separate actions, and can be done independently from each other. You can also hide JUST the weapon, or hide JUST the arms, as those are also separate actions.

Speaking of hiding the arms, is it theoretically possible to hide your arms without hiding the HUD elements? I'm not suggesting you make this an option, but I am curious if it is an independent thing a person can modify or if it is hard linked with aspects of the UI.

Really? Man, and I really searched far and wide to see if there was anything like it. The closest thing I had found was that UI tweaks COULD do it, but not that it had a keybind.

Ah well, yeah, like you said, it's good to have a standalone mod, and this does provide some extra functionality. Hiding the arms took like 90% of the effort, for instance, I'm hoping people make good use of that for some scenic screenshots!

I noticed recently that the sanctioned UI Tweaks mod also has a hotkey for hiding the HUD; however, it only toggles between the "Base" and "Partial" modes and doesn't have your "Complete" or "Camera" modes. Also, while UI Tweaks does have some useful things (namely faster loot unboxing), it's good to have a standalone feature mod such as this for people who don't want everything a large mod has to offer, or simply don't want their UI placements all messed up by that one.
