This version was abandoned a long time ago, as made clear by how the last version was 1.2 and the last comment made back in 2021.

Note for others: Agave has also been added by Vanilla Plants Expanded resulting in a double Agave when used alongside this, and there's a typo with Saguaro Cactus in this that makes a duplicate seed if Seeds Please is also used. These are fairly easily fixed by going into this mod's xml files and nuking everything that mentions either, if you use the corresponding mods, but proceed at your own risk.

Had a strange issue with two different types of Agave seeds appearing using different graphics. They competed for agave planting zones, with the first to be planted being the only kind of seed usable in that particular agave bed.

It would be really nice to be able to adjust the wild plant spawn rate in the preferences menu for performance and balance reasons.

Perhaps even per plant?

@yoshimitsu31 Pretty sure I've had the same issue as you in my last playthrough, I could add the seeds with Prepare Carefully and harvesting the crops also yielded a few seeds but there was no bill to create more seeds manually from the harvested mushrooms, as far as I could find there was no fix.

So getting them after starting a game is probably not possible unless something has changed in the last six or so months.

Any way to disable the way it grows regular plants in the wild? There is an error when it searches to grow wild stuff and it causes my game to lurch, I don't want to disable this mod because I like growing wild plants, but I might have to.

So i'm not sure, but i think Wild cultivation is what allows for planting of local fruit trees and part of the tree sowing research.
But when it comes to storage and recipes the harvested fruits are not considered "Fruits".
I'm not sure about this but i think maybe that's because the Fruits sub-section of vegetables is VGP and not vanilla.
Whatever the cause i'm wondering if that could be changed somehow?

Is support for Vanilla Plants Expanded a possibility? Many thanks for maintaining this, always loved the seeds mechanic and it's not fun without this mod.

I LOOOVE this!! It helps make my RimWorld save look more like an Animal Crossing collectathon. Any chance there could be settings to lower the amount of wild growables, and maybe restrict species to certain tiles like granite/marble/slate/sandstone? Turning this on completed my collecting challenge that next spring.

I have just updated the mod to fix this bug. Grass, tall grass and pincushion cactus now properly show up when selecting a plant to grow.

Thanks for updating this awesome mod. I don't see any grass or tall grass as option when selecting a plant to grow. Am I missing something? No VGP installed

- Vegetable Garden Project: grass, tall grass and pincushion cactus are no longer duplicated when selecting a plant to grow (also fixes duplicate XML node error).
- Fertile Planet: tropical rainforests and swamps are no longer lifeless.
- Harmony is now an external dependency. Please load Harmony to avoid your mod list from being wiped (version 1.1 only).

Hey back in 1.0 this mod conflicted with fertile planet leading to tropical jungle or swamp biomes to not spawn any vegetation. The problem was both fertile planet and wild cultivation added natural growing healroot to these biomes.
This problem was fixed by Rainbeau Flambe back then but it has now returned, I've already contacted the author of fertile planet 1.1 but he hasn't responded in the last couple days.

With both this and VGP loaded I'm getting a red error. Something about duplicate xml node for sowtags, load order doesn't matter.

@Mlie Unfortunately that mod is copyrighted and I therefore don't have permission to upload it to the workshop. The author said he could update the workshop version with my changes, but I haven't heard back from him in nearly a month.

- Fixed SeedsPlease patch (credit: boundir). Seeds will properly spawn from wild plants.
- This mod will require the Harmony mod in the next release (1.1 only). Please download and enable Harmony to avoid your mod list from being wiped.

Since seeds please updated to 1.1 i started getting those 2 errors from your mod, any ideas?
