I went through the code and found no errors, however I did upload a new build to Steam and it should've downloaded for you. if not untick subscribe and resubscribe. Also make sure you have all of the dependencies subscribed as hell. It's alot heheh

I had no idea what I was doing when just placing things on the map at the time and not realising it wasn;t from the Vanilla base game

There's probably an issue with the CUP dependencies.. I'll have a look at this and also about the saving. I'll keep you updated
I recommend you add the necessary DLCs to the description, since the Arma 3 Aegis mod requires Apex and Western Sahara.
If you happen to give it a try and it doesn't work. Let me know and I'll try to make a quick fix
1) Players are goal-oriented. Subtle hints are okay, but if it doesn't generate an item on the task list, it's probably not going to get done. "Dad, we did all the tasks on the list and killed everybody. If that's not enough, then screw it."
2) We were there to eliminate a cult, but there was never a sense that the cult was ever reacting to us. The enemies all seemed happy to just wait around for us to come kill them. Move to location, kill everybody, take their stuff. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Wouldn't a cult leader bent on world domination have some kind of QRF? Instead of cult members just waiting or wandering around aimlessly in the woods, I'd have a cult QRF come to every objective that was attacked, and a small pursuit force that would spawn and follow after the players to keep them on their toes. There should be a reason why those guys at the beginning didn't want to leave the base.
Every single thing placed on the map has to be rendered. Every single vertice, every texture, every movement. Lets face it, the ARMA engine is over 8 years old and just isn't that efficient at using resources. That's resources. But it's not just that. It's that the animals have nothing at all to do with the mission. It's dark. In most cases, you never even notice them. Remember "Chekhov's Gun"? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chekhov%27s_gun
I will see how much of a performance boost I can receive by removing the animals throughout the map. some are lore-wise and others are just for immersion.
Also I'm curious to know if the ending ever triggered for you if you completed the scenario again.
It sucks though that you didn't get to view the ending cutscene. and get the 'mission complete' screen. I will load this up in the editor within the next couple of days and see where it's broken. I really wanna people to experience the ending.

The only other thing was, after we had finished all the objectives, we went to the exfil and nothing happened. Double checked and the list was clean. I'm guessing we got "ARMA-ed".
I hope you also try that scenario as well, it has some great moments.. It's not as great 'technically' since it was my first mission i created within the editor, but in my opinion, the ambiance is just as tense if not more tense as this one.
And i'll keep ya in mind if I need any extra vocals. extra help is always appreciated
Voice acting please! I know it's already pretty good as it is, but some of the dialog from our main character - Cake - and the other NPCs goes very very fast to the point we cannot even read it fast enough. Having actual voices for them would just bring this mod tenfold. If you cannot get any people willing to give you a few lines of dialog, I volunteer to do it and find a bunch of other people to do that dialog!

I am a complete fan of scenarios like this from Phantom, but this, dare I say, almost surpasses it! I think there was another scenario that kinda turned me off (girls night out or something-rather) because I thought it would be like a thot-loving waifu sorta scenario but if it's even half as good as this, I'm totally in!

There were no indicators that were obvious.
You have to remember I am playing in SP, by myself, in the dark, headphones, lights out and the game was creeping me out... It was a good thing but I wished to have played it in COOP mode with friends.
But I would not mind replaying all of it again in a REMASTERED format.
PS: You should have a COOP server with these missions in rotation. You, Phantom and few others here... Just ONE online horror COOP server would be amazing for the community.
I will add more clarity for the side missions as well.. there's one that gives you the opportunity to fight the cannibal hunter, that quest can be found over by the 'cleric meeting' objective. A flare falls when you're close to the NPC that offers the quest. There's also a sidequest over in Doodstil
And Voice acting has totally be on my mind and I've really been thinking about implementing it. I still have one more mission to complete this trilogy and it's gonna take me a while to get that one finished since it will be my biggest mission to date, but I plan on optimizing and expanding this mission and the sequel
I was very surprised with the ending. Actually, it replayed twice for me so there might be some bugs. In the intro, I can see the view zooming in for like 3 seconds with the song playing, then it LOADs into the starting point for some reason. I never see the full intro or if that is just a glitch.
You should add voice acting! As cheesy as it may be, spoken voice would be tremendous because your story is very good. You can cheat by using an online speaker to record it! Select both male and female. Just paste your talking lines into it and it will spit out an audio file and link it.
I missed a couple of side missions. The one with the note to meet at X location. It does not create a mission or side quest and for the life of me, I cannot read GPS coordinates! LOL.
The second one was the find the chopper side mission. It pops up after the correct event, but then a few seconds later, it says completed.
It might be the 2.0 update.
Multiple ending paths would be cool. A couple of surprise ones and one to lead to the official followup mission. I hope you will do more after the next one. I'm going to play that tonight and see how it goes!
Hopefully you enjoyed that ending? I've been thinking of adding multiple ones, especially if that ending was too surprising
