Would it be hard to adapt your mod to show more ship nfo? Like aspect ratios and GRT?
Just had a look to the source code. Seems straightforward tho. I would be glad to pitch in if needed. But I'm not knowledgeable enough with Unity framework.

but identification booklet misses silhouettes for freighter 04-07. (it shows Liberty silhouette instead) is it known? :)
There seems to be an issue with variable substitution/data binding. It happened twice in the last few days. The data in the booklet just displayed stuff like

I didn't have the opportunity to test much, but I am hopeful that cleaning their accursed cache/datasheet garbage might help as a temp fix. It just now occured to me that I didn't even test whether it persisted between loads/restarts. I suspect it might also be something like the mod trying to copy the data into its own memory - without checking for successful returns - as soon as the script can execute, but before the game has actually loaded the data/made it available to the scripts, and not refreshing it after that? Or there's a problem with the paths/graphs/uris being accessed in a way that isn't intended?

But when i use the binoculars the game freezes and gives black screen (but still runs, no crash)
And you can just scroll back, and its fine.

then your historical flags mod started working right away.
Curious, I changed the game order so historical flags load first, then THIS mod, enabled the mod back, and loaded the save again without any deletion of cache or so.
This mod started working... :D XD It seems you have to play around a bit with it sometimes - dunno if it was the load order, or something else, but both of your mods are working now.

I tried this post release version now,
after deleting contents of cache, data sheets and temp in locallow, and deleting contents of cache folder in the game folder,
(I am using this with a savegame, game started after release)
But when I load the save, in UZO, or periscope view clicking the ID book button does nothing anymore. It shows the effect that it is clicked, but no booklet appear. Nor vanilla, nor modded, sadly
I tried it seconds ago and after clicking any button, nothing happens. Only butten that works is the "X" button to close the book. Any idea? It is the only mod I activated.
There is a big text string "Default" shown within ships picture..
