I thought about it ages ago but I recall it being more trouble than it's worth, or rather, I didn't have the time or inclination to do it (start_pos shenanigans and more scripting)
If someone finds a way to do it I'd be happy to add it though!
If you aren't playing Vlad/Isabella then the faction leader will be Vlad every time; he'll hire Isabella as another Legendary Lord some time after Turn 1
Sounds like a potential mod conflict; disable others and only leave this one enabled to confirm (new campaign)
No worries! Lots of shenanigans from CA under the hood; especially for this little switcheroo they pulled from Warhammer 2 to 3
Unfortunately even with this mod disabled, Vlad is *still* the "face" of Sylvania in diplomacy even when you choose Isabella!
Not much I can do about it with even the mod enabled; that part isn't easily exposed to me (from what I can tell after poking around)
@Ashaii Aye that actually bugged me as well, unfortunately due to the way CA had sorted out the internals and scripts involved with converting them from Lords -> Legendary Heroes it caused quite a few bugs, to say the least!
The best way I found (without spending way too much time on this) is the current solution; I'll probably come back to this when I have more time for modding in general, or Vampire Counts get a big update (or CA fixes a lot more of the bugs around this)
Minor gripe: would it be possible to delay them getting their quest items a bit instead of instantly awarding them on quest started? Fighting both Vlad and Isabella in full legendary gear from turn 1 sounds a bit rough. I'm not sure on the if this works or how much effort it would be, but an ideal solution for me would be:
Whichever lord is not being played (both if it's an NPC faction this campaign, of course) instantly unlocks their items at the levels where they would normally unlock that item's quest battles, in line with other vanilla lords who unlock items at level thresholds rather than quest battles;
If you're playing as one of them, you unlock that one's quest battles as usual (if this is already the case then mb, the phrasing here on the workshop makes it seem like they both get their items on campaign start in general)
Looks like no changes were needed, just making the warning icon go away
Playing a bit after CA's (much needed) course correction post "Shadows of Change" kerfluffle; here's hoping they stay on the right track
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. One of my favorite quotes.
Did a preliminary check, and no major issues were detected, although I did not pick up the Shadows of Change DLC so I can't really confirm if things are working as intended there
