Given the singular experience I had playing this on TF2maps.net , I will protect this map with my life

VERY cool map, but a few notes:
-The boat pushes you off on a few of the corners if you're standing still, kinda annoying,
-The cart pushes you off it if you're standing still and its moving
-The boat feels... lame? Like its practical gameplay-wise, but its just kinda a plank, no real mechanisms for movement like a little propeller or smthn underneath it.
-The map feels long. Ive only played it singleplayer to check it out but it doesnt feel like BLU would have enough time to push the cart without being in overtime by the end of each checkpoint. Maybe make the boat go a bit faster? Or idk maybe this is bc its only me pushing the cart :p

fr though this is a really unique map idea and I hope to see it in the Summer update!

I was just looking at it in single player. And I stood on the cart all the way from blu spawn all the way to point 3 and had 7 mins left when i capped point 3. There is nowhere near enough time on this map for a full game to be played. If red team stops blu between point A and B for any considerable amount of time. Blu team will be basically unable to cap B as it's too far away and there wouldn't be enough time. seriously consider making point capture's give 5 mins on round timer, MINIMUM.

Also not enough clipping in underwater areas, and i found a dev texture near the last point. It's in the underwater flank area to the right of point C, there's a medium health and ammo pack there.

otherwise it's a cool map. would want this in the game! :votes::votes::votes:

There isn't a navmesh at this stage. This is mostly because the bots get stuck underwater. Once I can figure out how to fix that, I can see myself adding a navmesh.

okay, just did a run-through of this map, few things to note is that the boat does tend to clip through the rock jutting out of the water between points a & b and also through a corner on the way to the last point. you can also get stuck easily inside the payload and in the pipes on the right side towards the last point, but other than that this map is a blast. i get the same feeling as i did when i played pier for the first time, when i knew that pier would instantly become one of my favourite maps of all time. excellent work! i especially love all the open spaces, the flank routes and just how long it is.

Boatload is a map of many things: Intrigue, Chaos, and above all else: Fun! Of any attempt at a water-focused Payload map (or for that matter, a water-focused map in general), Boatload soars with flying colours above the rest of the pack. With truly dynamic combat spaces, fantastic details that even the most blind person can enjoy, this map is absolutely one for the ages!
