Ok so turns out the solution isn't that simple, overriding each map's set item density with convars pretty much fills out the entire map, which isn't something that I want.

So the idea I had is pretty much canceled LMAO

In the meantime, you can use this mod, however it will increase the max item count of EVERYTHING!!!

This fits well with Walther P99 from MW3.

In the meantime, I believe there's a much simpler solution to your problem, be on the look out for it sometime next week.

It is definitely possible for a mod to do that, however that's not something that is currently within my capabilities.

Maybe in the future if I have the time to learn how to create and edit .lmp files.

any chance to get a mod such as "better ammo piles"? this mod would have it so, if a spot on a map has a "chance" to spawn an ammo pile, the mod will make it always spawn an ammo pile?

this "low on ammo" issue doesn't really come into play if your a player, but it does with bots on 1 particular map, that being Dead Center Mall Alarm run. sometimes if you get the bottom path, there will be NO ammo pile anywhere, and by the time you reach the first escalator the bots will most likely be out of ammo, ive not ran out of ammo when using your "better reserve ammo" mod, however if a tank spawns after or during the alarm run and there is no ammo pile, then i run out of ammo and suffer just like the bots and it has happened a good amount., even with your reserve ammo run on higher diffs.
