I knew I heard T Seals' stuff in here! Absolutely stellar collection. Thanks a million for compiling and making this.

@DeadRaiser Ah i see, kinda a bummer i love that game OST. but I'm liking your mods so far, specially when i heard MW4 vengeance menu one.
DeadRaiser  [author] 15 Jul @ 6:42am
@Zeon audio quality on its tracks I found were pretty poor and the runtime on each one is no more than 30 seconds with a few exceptions.
Zeon 15 Jul @ 1:59am
aw no mech commander gold?
MR.Microb 14 Jul @ 7:40pm
Love this mod so far:Khappy:

@Emerald Lime yes I know it’s on my list.

@Proxy No. If you read the modpage you’ll see that largely defeats the purpose of the mod
Proxy 7 Jul @ 8:41pm
can we get a version of this without MW5 music? i bloody hate MW5's music
DeadRaiser  [author] 7 Jul @ 6:39am
@Iaxus__dreyar not possible with the way audio is handled in MW5
NagiHinamori 6 Jul @ 10:55am
It would be great to have the option to choose the different soundtracks to use, because it would be cool to be able to choose according to your preferences like the Soundtracks of Mech Commander 2, MechWarrior 4 Vengeance and Mercenaries instead of having to suffer through all the different soundtracks of all the games, you can't have the option to change which soundtracks to have in the game depending on the players' choices.

DeadRaiser, thanks for the explanation. Yes, it looks just as you described. And it's probably imposible to bring so many tracks to one style. I can only hope for mod options to enable or disable individual tracks/or track packs.
DeadRaiser  [author] 14 Jun @ 10:12am
@stanislav in vanilla there are four interconnected music tracks: Ambient, Activate, Combat, and Climax. The vanilla music is made to be split and seamlessly transition between each. This is not possible with a mod like this as I have to essentially replace all of those vanilla transitions with just two sets of tracks: Ambient and Combat. There is no other way to do that without adding on several hundred hours of work remaking all the tracks in the mod to follow the vanilla formula and that’s not something I have time to do with a mod like this. Most other music mods do the same thing I do, just that it maybe more noticeable thanks to the sheer number of tracks included in the mod.
stanislav_sh 14 Jun @ 7:50am
Love the music mods on MW, but I'm having trouble with this mod. In vanilla - each mission has 1 ambient track and 1 battle track. One track seamlessly transitions into the other, leaving a cohesive experience. In this mod the music changes several times per mission and it's more like a mix or mash of tracks not connected by one mood and style. (maybe it is just my personal issue)
Rusty_Nols 8 Jun @ 6:12pm
fixed the issue i was having by installing a different music mod then disabling that mod
SirDubDub 1 Jun @ 11:42am
@DeadRaiser Sounds great! Thanks bud. I'll see what I can dig up from the harddrive sometime.
DeadRaiser  [author] 31 May @ 4:14pm
@SirDubDub YOOOOOOOOOO what's up? Glad you liked the mod! I remembered your old fan animation from years ago and the co-author on this mod, Quark Bent, showed me that you had made other standalone music. Loved all of it and fit what I wanted to do with the mod (Celebration of BattleTech). If you ever want to have other stuff included or you have questions about things, let me know. I am always open to talk :)
SirDubDub 31 May @ 3:05pm
Awww so nice to see some old project randomly show up today (this is D.C. Bruins). Cheers bud!
Shadowgoob 16 May @ 2:23pm
Great mod! The only thing that could make it better is if the music synced with other players in coop like the last music mod I was using. The variety of music alone makes it worth installing, however.
DeadRaiser  [author] 14 May @ 4:01pm
@Rusty_Nols that’s nothing to do with my end of things.
Rusty_Nols 14 May @ 11:08am
disabling the mod in game does not disable the mod, unsubscribing from the mod does not disable the mod.
DeadRaiser  [author] 9 May @ 9:17pm
@OtioseFanatic very slim to not at all. I make my opinion on why they weren't originally included in the spreadsheet.
OtioseFanatic 9 May @ 8:27pm
Any chance of the MW3 and Pirates moon OST being added?
DeadRaiser  [author] 4 May @ 7:03pm
@FuZzOtagE thanks. I just recently found some more tracks from MW2's Titanium Edition OST that I'll be adding in a small update soon.
FuZzOtagE 4 May @ 6:42pm
This is some of the best video game music I have ever heard. Thanks for doing this. I almost always turn music off in games, but everything Ive heard in this is so dang good. The last MW I played before Mercs was MW2 and I dont even remember most of the music..when I hear it, its familiar, but barely. This is just so great. THanks again:steamthumbsup:
Emerald Lime 28 Apr @ 4:05pm
Had this subscribed while playing the Rise of Rasalhague campaign. Fits better lmao
TheRedHawk97 24 Apr @ 2:58am
The Marauder Song started playing while I was stomping around in a Marauder

10/10, best mod ever
DeadRaiser  [author] 23 Apr @ 5:11am
@Nimbyman thanks for the heads up. What that means is SSW is changing the game’s music somehow. As I mentioned below, Sounds of the Succession War is not up to date with the latest game version so it will likely have some issues such as missing audio as well.
Nimbyman 23 Apr @ 4:29am
PSA, to anyone having trouble, this mod does not work if you have Sounds of the Succession Wars mod (either normal or the lite overhaul version) enabled. In my case, my game wasn't even telling me they were conflicting, but once I disabled SSW, this mod started working.
Lupusmajor 23 Apr @ 12:48am
Youre a legend for making this mod
DeadRaiser  [author] 22 Apr @ 11:14pm
Version 1.2 is up. 59 new tracks have been added to head bang to while you engage in heavy metal carnage!
Ham 22 Apr @ 6:51am
thank you
DeadRaiser  [author] 21 Apr @ 3:27pm
@slayer557 Sounds of the Succession War will work, but the mod itself is heavily outdated. It hasn't been properly updated for mechs and weapons added after DLC 1 causing them to lose all audio. The reason I put Audiostash and Nostalgic Sounds Redux is because they are the only audio mods still up-to-date with the current version of the game.
slayer557 21 Apr @ 2:47pm
Does this work with the Sounds of the Succession Wars mod?
W4cky 19 Apr @ 6:41pm
I just wanted to say thank you for this compilation! This is such a good collection of tracks. Some of these I am familiar with from MW4 days but many I am not. So this is very much happy discoveries. Cheers!
Baba Konish 16 Apr @ 9:36pm
confirmed fix, you are awesome dude - music is really a value add to the experience
Baba Konish 16 Apr @ 6:59pm
Yaasss I'll test it now! :)
DeadRaiser  [author] 16 Apr @ 6:11pm
Fixed auto-ducking and loss of sound on the Merc Stingers. They'll now play and not completely mute all other audio.
DeadRaiser  [author] 16 Apr @ 4:17pm
@Raynor I think I've got it figured out. I'm running some tests to see if it's sorted now
Raynor 16 Apr @ 2:08pm
ahhhh I see someone already reported issue with lowering volume by some songs ... well we shall see since I really like the song combos
Baba Konish 15 Apr @ 9:07pm
ah, that's a bummer! The added music and ambiance is awesome, worth it for sure. :) great work amigo
DeadRaiser  [author] 15 Apr @ 9:01pm
@Baba Konish that's because of the auto-ducking when the appear. It's in vanilla as well. I'm experimenting with getting rid of it at the moment as it shoots all other audio down to -90 db or something.
Baba Konish 15 Apr @ 8:44pm
anyone having issues with no weapon sounds with this one? seems to happen when the enemy mercs ambush you
Marcel 15 Apr @ 3:38pm
i love it thank you for yalls time and effort going into these mods yall make
DeadRaiser  [author] 15 Apr @ 3:36pm
Lol. I guess it could be worse but yeah I feel that'll end up leading to desync if they don't have it as well. Oh well, enjoy the mod XD
Marcel 15 Apr @ 3:26pm
it works but clients say they lag so imma just force it on them lmao
DeadRaiser  [author] 15 Apr @ 3:05pm
Yeah co-op in this game is held together with two sticks and duct tape. We’re always trying to figure out how to keep co-op stable in the YAML discord. Try the mod out and see if it works just client side for you and your pals don’t get the music changes. I don’t play co-op so I have 0 idea how music is affected from host to client
Marcel 15 Apr @ 12:01pm
they dont care for the music changes which is why i was asking to make sure, i figured about the dsync but i sometimes have dsync with them having the same exact list
DeadRaiser  [author] 15 Apr @ 11:10am
Always recommended that clients run the same exact list as the host to avoid desync in co-op. However I believe this should only affect things client-side so best case is that your co-op pals might not get the music changes.
