The ammo and railgun shelf for the magazine elevator just disappeared on my sub, the signs next to the elevator is stuck on sending/ calling and the pressing the button does nothing. Is there a way to fix this or is it just gone forever? (I'm playing with a alot of mods installed so idk if that's the reason why)

@Nika Starwife - The point defense weapons are normally unlimited ammo and do not require any reloading. The only thing they require is that the super capacitor is recharging. If the super cap has power and they are still not firing, it is likely due to using a mod that overhauls the weapons. Anything that edits HMG magazines would affect the PDWs.

@ZARZEL - I design my subs for multiplayer so I can't confidently say that it would be solo friendly. I know that bots get stuck trying to get into the shuttle to fix it when it's damaged which can become a real hassle. It's likely possible to play solo, but I haven't tested it for that.

@Qeqeneq yes it was a mod (combat Overhaul Legacy) it seems to change the ammo inside the gun for some odd reason.

@Cornelius Finkleton - I'm not able to replicate this issue. It sounds like a bug as that is not the intended behavior. Do you have other mods installed? Perhaps a mod that you have is interacting with HMG magazines, as that is what is used in the turrets.

im having slight issues with the point defense turrets on the airlocks, it only has one shot and then doesn't let me shoot again, is it a bug or a button im missing?

Had an update while playing and when i went to load the game said "Credit Card in wreck" is not active.

Ends up installing a new sub and totally forgot about why i came to the workshop in the first place :smileytick::sefacepalm::spiffo:

@ash - The mineral dump description is just a little background justification. In reality it is just a container, but it's linked to the deconstructor. That means you can leave something in the container up top, go to the deconstructor, and either pull the minerals out there from engineering or simply deconstruct them.

hi im just a little confused on how to use the mineral dump, when i put in minerals they just stay in the container at the northern airlock

Yea, I know, thats how I reverse engineer other peoples mods in the xml and take their sprites, but your shuttles just throw an error that says they dont exist! lol maybe im dum -- I see the shuttles when I test them in the sub editor, and I see a sub file for the other shuttle, but when I go looking for the elevator file in the primary sub file its absent from the mod. Fascinating. Im unsure why that is. I'll look into this further. Thank you for the permission to open it lol this things a beast.

You may have to open the local folder for the submarine, copy the file of the elevator, and put it in its own folder so the game shows it as its own submarine.

Otherwise I'm not sure why it wouldn't be showing. I haven't done anything differently for it. It should be uploaded like any shuttle that is attached to a submarine.

The file is named Man-at-Arms Elevator. You should be able to open it in the sub editor on its own, as long as it is enabled as a mod.

Is that where you are having trouble finding it?

@kellym - Absolutely. Not only could I not stop you; it's not even mine to begin with.

I stole it wholesale myself from the Járngreipr by NikoPie. I have done some of the legwork to reverse engineer it, but let's give credit to our sources. (And apologies to NikoPie if it was meant to remain secret, cause it felt that way since everything was hidden and blanked-out and was a real pain to extract. But, apologies instead of permission because I also can't be stopped.)

@John-Enzo - Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I'll try to replicate the problem and see if I can fix the waypoints.

The auto coils activate from motion sensors. They will automatically fire when a monster is close enough, and there is a 5 second cooldown before they will prime to fire again. The levers can turn them off so that they don't activate to save power, or to avoid harming crew.

@Remote control seller - Excellent question.

All of the waypoints are tested and corrected for navigating the sub to the best that I can get them. The main problem for bots in this sub is the shuttle. They don't seem to be able to properly enter the shuttle in order to fix something there. My solution to this was to make everything on the shuttle immune to degradation over time (this actually solves two problems, the first being bots that get caught on the ladder trying to reach something they want to fix, and the second being that the shuttle was basically never really used because whenever someone wanted to it was falling apart and would take several minutes just to repair everything in it). Now, bots will only have a reason to enter the shuttle if it is damaged in an attack .

AI otherwise works properly on the main sub and can go anywhere that they need to.

If you are interested, I have other subs for the other tiers that you can use until you get there. They all come with a different vibe. My playgroup likes the Cavern Crawler .

Sub looks good and seems to have everything needed to be basically self sustained as long as you get the raw materials during the maps

The shuttle is something that I'm pretty proud of, even if my play group barely uses it. It's remarkably compact for having all the necessities of a full shuttle.
