All the text is hand-written and I use a graphics tablet for that.
I think supporting the creations you really do like is more effective. Trying to convince people whose creations don't quite match your standards to change their priorities is a lot more difficult.
I want workshop be a better place.
As I've mentioned, I personally know what me and my crew want out of these submarines, so I've got solid reasons to build them this way. I'm obviously not gonna change its tier for someone far outside of the target audience. That's about it for this topic, I guess.
If you can beat the game on this sub, then you can beat the game on barsuk, you just need a mechanic with right tree talent to maximize hull.
Yes, there are reasons. If you wrote a more detailed description i wouldn't need to guess if it has really powerfull engine\pumps or not. If not, then 200 pump power on left side and 600 on right side is less than t1 ships have. If we comparing guns, then its weaker than most t2 even non combat ships and much weaked than t3. So once again, i cant see this ship as t3 ship.
If the only problem with beating the game on a Barsuk for you is the lack of fabrication, then I have to wonder what the purpose of having stronger options would be. I mean, it sounds like Orca or Camel is pretty much all you'd need. Anything beyond that would presumably be a luxury. At which point, is there a reason to complain about the equipment installed on the Wasp?
It's not particularly fancy, but it's comfortable enough and can deal with late-game threats.
You don't have to play the game with this submarine to decide whether you want to use it or not. But having practical experience with it helps when you're planning to extensively criticise it.
Im sorry, i just cant understand what i can see in this sub, that i never used before in other submarines.
Even barsuk can beat the game, and it will not be even hard, just annoying to craft ammo in stations, and if we comparing this sub to barsuk, whats the difference? Tier and railgun at nose? Do i really need to play to understand this?
Ascent speed is the same for all submarines. When your submarine is 100% air and 0% water, it ascends at the max speed allowed by the game's code, with insignificant variability.
Descent speed differs significantly from sub to sub, based on ballast volume relative to the volume of the entire submarine. Wasp has lower neutral ballast level than most vanilla subs, meaning its descent speed is higher than what you'd normally see.
There's nothing stopping you from not using this submarine if you've tried it out and decided that it's not worth it. Or, hell, you don't have to try it out, you can skip that step entirely. But it gets harder to have a coherent discussion when the main source of critique is someone who hasn't touched the submarine in game.
Specialized on what? Use properly what? There are literally nothing in this sub, to be not like in vanilla. If we imagine this ship goes for 50kmh with experienced crew, then it is useless, since even 35kmh is way too fast for all creatures and, you know, walls, that you need to evade, but there are super small ballast tank, so ascension speed will be on barsuk level.
Blindspots are not matters anyways, untill you rammed a wall, of course.
Look, comparing Wasp to a T1 transport is ridiculous. They're completely different classes. Wasp isn't underpowered - it's specialized. If you're expecting it to be a massive gun platform like Typhon or Winterhalter, you've missed the entire concept. Either learn to use it properly or stick with the heavyweight gunboats like the Typhon2.
Also look at these gun-angles man, they are fucking evil. almost 360. Wont find that on any tier 1 attack afaik.
I had a good time on it with my crew, though.
t2 humpback is also having 3 guns and rail.
borg would be proud
- great gun coverage
- water drainage
- junction boxes with relay components
- good navigation inside the submarine
- easy shell design
I'm very envy yet happy to see this creation. well done!
