Nice puzzle, hope you make more!

It seems the puzzle closed itself upon getting the sigil; I thought I could proceed to solving the star at that point? Now I guess I have to start from the top to do the star?

Fun puzzle!

Found an unintended solution.
I put the two cubes so that I fell down on them from the first ladder.

Then I was able to jump up on the wall and walk all over the place. I jumped down to the star and rewinded. Strangely, the star remained when I rewinded. Finally I was able to jump and land in the final area

Nice puzzle

Thank you so much!

Congrats on the first place!

Thank you! I agree, the rewind feature makes mines way more usable as an actual puzzle element, as opposed to an obstacle.

Puzzles like this would be a lot more awkward without the reset function, don't know why anyone complains when you have a dedicated reset button..... Good puzzle!
Chaest 6 May @ 9:23am
Sorry it happens with this one, but I'm really fed up with the "dont't kill the bomb or you have to reset" trope.

It's only dense fencing that blocks lasers and jammers, the sparser ones in windows only block picking up items through them, like plasma barriers.
Thanks for playing!
Darky 5 May @ 7:40pm
Yeah, I see. I thought such windows with bars block jammers. Thanks and good work!
Wheat  [author] 5 May @ 6:50pm
It is possible- a video showing the intended solution has been added to the description if you are stuck.
Darky 5 May @ 4:17pm
@Wheat:
Without that ladder how am I supposed to use the 2nd jammer if I can't get out to get the 1st jammer?
Wheat  [author] 5 May @ 1:09pm
I did remove the ladder, it was originally placed to let you exit easily upon beating the puzzle, but it messed up the intended solution
Darky 5 May @ 12:39pm
@Wheat: Yes, I've grabbed the star in 3 ways, 2 of them are parkoured and 1 was the intended way via corridor. However the rocky steps next to the barrier are placed in such a way that it's irresistable to be climbed :-)

Did you remove the ladder from the room with the second jammer or were I seeing things??
Wheat  [author] 5 May @ 12:18pm
You're correct, that's the main intended way. I'm still trying to figure out changes to make it slightly less janky to pull off. mainly you just have to stand on the grounded box, and wait for the mine (with the other box on top) to come over, and then there's a decent window where you can place the jammer at the right angle, with it snapping to the top of the mine. You don't need to do any tricky jumping onto or off of the mine's box.
Dark 5 May @ 10:38am
I put the jammer (and a box) on the mine and it jammed the door as it went through it. It felt like the unintended solution since setting it up without dying was very wonky. Was it?
Wheat  [author] 4 May @ 5:13pm
I could've sworn I patched jumping over the plasma door... thanks for catching that!
either way, the first paragraph is fully intentional.
System 4 May @ 5:05pm
My solution is a bit different.

Use a cube to elevate the first jammer over the window (jamming the plasma door you can see through it) and climb the ladder on the right to enter the room with the mine. Then, go to the second jammer (avoiding the mine) and use it jam the first door. This gives you "free" access to the first jammer and the box underneath.

Now, use one box in the raised part to get over the exploding area of the mine, place another box on top of the mine as a mobile platform to jump over the big plasma door *with the jammer in hand).

Then, move to the side and use the jammer to deactivate the big plasma door you just jumped over, allowing the mine collide with the automatic gun (destroying both and letting the box you placed on the mine to fall to the ground).

Using the two boxes and the jammer, it is easy to go though several small puzzles involving plasma doors and buttons.
Wheat  [author] 4 May @ 4:34pm
Good catch, that's not the intended solution, the second jammer is not meant to ever leave the jammer room, and nothing else is ever meant to go in
dneufeldt 4 May @ 1:29pm
Not sure the intended solution here I used the cubes to hop on the mine, then brought one in to the jammer room to elevate the jammer while it was jamming the mine, and to jump back on top. then I took the jammer out into the main area so I could let the mine explode the turret and grab the entrance jammer. from there you can walk through all the gates using both jammers. for the star I hopped over the wall.
Wheat  [author] 3 May @ 5:03pm
I've updated the puzzle, since it had a few issues (and mistakes) that I've figured out how to address.
Wheat  [author] 3 May @ 11:14am
There's a fairly sensible way to get the star. if you were climbing geometry that felt strange and glitchy , that's never going to be an intended solution
Darky 3 May @ 11:00am
@dad: It's the way of the cheese to grab the star
dad 3 May @ 7:37am
Am I supposed to climb the bricks? geometry was a little strange it felt like I was glitching
Sharp 2 May @ 3:52pm
Very nice!

Nice little puzzle.
