Have you tried deleting the mod from the documents folder & reinstalling it? Every once in a while there will be a faulty installation on Steam's end.

@Castersuger123 only the last two decisions (restoring the kingdom of the Hellas decision & the make Athens your capital decision) require you to be independent. The others only require you to hold the county of Athens.

im guessing you need to be independent as im seeing nothing as a duke
Machina Mystica  [author] 30 Jun @ 5:46pm
@Castersuger123 by directly holding c_atheniai

how do you access these decisions?

not bad, would be great if you did more of such <<city decision>> flavour mods but that the ai could use and that you'd be informed when they did.

I realized there is still the matter of the usurp/create triggers for k_byzantium, but you could just do without those, especially if you make it so k_mmathens just includes Athens and another duchy instead of stealing all the de jure vassals of k_byzantium.

I haven't tested it, but you could probably improve compatibility if you handled the inclusion of k_mmathens in e_byzantium through the event that establishes k_mmathens. Kingdoms actually do not need to have a de jure liege defined in landed titles, so in mmathens_landed_titles.txt you can just define k_mmathens directly (as is for example k_papal_state), without an associated de jure empire. And then in the restore Hellas event, when you scope to k_mmathens you can include the line:

de_jure_liege = e_byzantium

ΑΘΗΝΑ WOOOOOOOOOOO

Oh, specifically the # Creation/Usurp Trigger chunk from under k_byzantium. Was running out of characters to work with there lol.

@duncandonut06; yeah, I've never used the mod so I don't know for sure, but unless they have any checks specifically for "k_byzantium" throughout the events or some such, compatibility should be fairly straight forward. Just open up mmathens -> common -> landed_titles -> mmathens_landed_titles.txt, copy the k_mmathens and paste it under the defines of e_byzantium in the respective landed_titles file of Legacy of Rome. You will also want to copy the # Creation/Usurp Trigger chunk and paste that into the k_byzantium defines of LoR. That way you can found the Hellas title & won't be constantly needled to re-found Greece. After pasting those two bits, just delete my landed_titles defines. Nothing else gets touched.

any way to figure out how to get it to be better compatible with legacy of rome expanded?
