I think the gargoyles are the small chubby things and the chimeras are the thinner creatures. I was actually able to jump on and over some of the gargoyles. I cannot find any logic whatsoever.

The puzzles are interesting, I can tell a lot of thought went into them. The problem that I'm having is that there is very little explanation done. Magic Ray is understandable once you figure it out, but it takes a long time for the player to realize what is activating what, and why. The second puzzle in particular seems almost arbitrary in what kills you and what doesn't. Magic Ray could use some of those colored wires to know what to look for, and maybe a quick example for the gargoyles?
