this is for Controller Companion and should work correctly unless CDPR changed something on The Witcher 1 I wasn't aware.

i know this no longer works and config is on your profile but i can see it?

@ Klondike. Yes. For me, I had to rebind the right click button to "b" for right click to work within the app.

If I launch Witcher from GOG (without Steam overlay at all), would this still work for me (as long as I'm still running Controller Companion)?

I'm currently not using it since I changed it for SCC, but if something changed on CC, then I was not aware of it. I need to put a notice for these profiles eventually.

That's pretty weird. In any case, you're supposed to use the Right Analog Stick as a mouse in menus, and A as Left Click.

No idea how or what happened but I opened up the controller companion and tried setting up my own profile a little into it I saved snd exited and yours had been added to my processes list. The only thing I can figure is that I had to try to set up my own profile befor it recgnized yours. Its working now just unsure why its working now and didn't for the four hours I spent working on it last night -_-

I am I meant the directional pad on the on the xbox 360 wired controller sorry that was my fault I mispoke. Maybe I should try starting a save game playing it a little via the mouse before saving it then relauncing it to see if the controller works? I just reinstalled the Witcher yesterday. My old computer crashed so I am having to reinstall my games on a new computer.

I haven't tested it with a 100% brand new game experience, not sure how to do that.

Arrow keys? There are no arrow keys mapped, and also... you should use this with a controller.

Does it matter which control option I select when starting the game? Because regardless of what I do the arrow keys seem to want to only control movement and none of the other buttons do anything at all. Except on the main menu it allows me to go through all the selections start the game and everything but once the game starts the buttons stop functioning,

@phil - just press the Draw button again until you set the style you want. It works, and you don't need to learn more bindings.

how do you switch between the 3 diffrent combat styles hevy,fast, and group style their not listed on the bindings?

@NSANE just to be clear, technically one doesn't need to buy The Witcher[ necessarily on Steam, as long as the process that is running is called "witcher". I've been using your profile on my GOG Version.
