Your mod is awesome, but can we any possible to add human nature Adrenaline reaction ? I mean, if gun fight start, human body will produce Adrenaline, right ? so, maybe they won't scream so loud ? thank you.

Hello, awesome mod first of all.

Just wondering, can you add a mod option to disable the injury/death screams for players?

Asking cus for example in OPTRE where Spartans use sheilds, even if you get hit in the shield your guy screams and it sounds weird.

Otherwise totally great mod! :steamthumbsup:

@AntiFascistMilitant I recall reading other people's comments saying it worked with unit voice overs. There shouldn't be anything that would conflict, so just test it and see.

@arnjhon sorry if i'm not understanding correctly:

the rattles and screams are different audio files. the probability of the screams can be adjusted in CBA settings, which let you disable screams altogether while leaving the rattle enabled :)

Addon Options > SSD Death Screams > scroll down

@B.A.D. Captain unfortunately, your problem is likely another mod that isn't compatible with @ggazso's. It does not crash vanilla Arma 3.

@Molasses I've tested the mod for you on my side. It works vanilla (CBA + @ggazso's mod), so your issue is either a mod-incompatibility or the server-side issue ggazso described. Let us know if anything else goes wrong or if you need help :p

@Molasses I'm not getting any script errors on my end. If you're in multiplayer, make sure you're running the mod on the server as well as per the instructions above.

can you confirm that rattle sounds include screams, not just gurgle sound?
I'd like for the screams to stop as soon as a unit has died, or maybe disabling screams all together while retaining gurgle sounds

@Warhammer Actual I get this might not have occurred to you, but this is not intended to be a realistic mod. Auditory feedback is an important aspect of shooter games, and certain unrealistic additions are often desirable for stylistic reasons (like bokeh or lens flares in films). Some people like them, others don't, and that's perfectly fine. If you don't like it, there's a simple solution: don't get the mod, and refrain from making such daft comments.

@ggazso thank you, it means alot that you're still keeping this alive, my issue seems to only be in singleplay/editor (it shows a script error on the top like most bugs) this doesn't seem to activate any bugs in a server/lan/multiplayer

@Gamms ACE technically doesn't conflict, it simply causes some unexpected behavior that isn't all that noticeable. Aside from that I'm not aware of any other conflicts. As long as the server and the client have the mod enabled it should function correctly. Is it working for you in singleplayer?

This mod is fantastic. I couldn't agree more that this atmosphere is what has been missing from the game. Howerver, I can't get it to work on a server. The settings in the CBA addons menu is set and the mod is installed and in the command line. Are there any known conflicts aside from ACE?

@Kuzeno They work albeit inconsistently because of the way ACE handles unit damage. I already have a working solution in mind to make it work reliably 100% of the time, but I unfortunately haven't had time to work on the mod. That and a few other improvements will make it into the next update once I get a chance to put it together.
