The Manticore doesn't have an upgrade except for Sun Ray, which affects all archer, so it has no need for a re-texture. I am working on another Manticore project though, stay tuned.
Also many thanks for an also ecellent work!
Minotaur Upgrade is up:

1) Bull Minotaur Upgrade: Bigger horns attached to Topofhead plus maybe a small texture upgrade. You might not even have to remove the default horns if the upgraded ones are big enough to overlay them.
2) Monkey King, Golden-Banded Staff Upgrade: Add Righthand attachpoint to give him a staff :) You'd have to add Righthand manually to all 5-6 animations but then the rest is easy (just add Kastor's staff or something).
I'm nearing completion with this one.
Anyway, did you whiten out the player colour spots in the crown's texture? Otherwise it'll be darker.
Yes, the feathers on the crown does make a nice place for player color, but it's a little dark at the momment.
Player colour might be best suited on the head. There are some darker areas to the side of the Atef Crown that would look nice in colour. If you're having trouble applying colour there it's probably because the material needs player colour in AMP (I believe that's PixelXForm1).
I think ES had dynamic lights in their early alpha/betas but then they probably switched it off for release. Skybox just put it back on without having their content creators really thinking it through, I guess.
It's new because the old version of the game didn't have dynamic lights and shadows.
Also, I haven't been able to modify the mummy's gleen glow, so I'll just remove it.
I checked and the only MU DCLs with lights are those of Mummy and Shade. It wasn't there in Vanilla and it feels odd to me (and I've heard people complaining about it in the forums) so I'll definitely remove it for my own mods =)
The glow effect is a new feature of .dcl files, the files to set selection circles and shadows in pre-AoM:EE.
Since Ihad not made one yet for the mummy upgrade model, the glow wasn't there.
I don't hate the glow, but I think it's a little too intense, especially when there is a large group of mummies. I'll try tweaking it.
Removing the green glow was an unintentional side effect. I don't know how the green glow works, maybe it's from removing the base mummy's head? I'll look into it.
Not sure about a compilation mod, it seems redundant and I like to let pick and chose what they want. Maybe.
At some point you should bundle your work into an MU Upgrades Pack :)
