You can find female golden armour on the upgraded Valkyrie :) Maybe it's not the best but worth a try

Moar ideas :)

-- Feet of the Jackal: Texture mod with black paws (and possibly black legs, too), in line with the black jackal that makes up the upper body. Golden wrist bands to accentuate the feet of the jackal.
-- Face of the Gorgon: The Medusa's face is hardly visible, so maybe a golden crown/tiara to underscore her status as Medusa Matriarch, plus golden body armour as a texture mod.

Ok so I think we could get some animations from other models but we would have to make death/recover and repair manually. Not sure if that's worth it.. Anyway I'll look into the Monkey King these days :)

I like your bronze texture because I think it looks cool but you're the texture expert here :) I'm looking into the models. With GRN I think we can take animations from other models as well, so let me check.

In the meantime, what MU is next on the agenda? :)

The automaton is a little tricky. The 2 upgrades are not linear, meaning you can research either one from the start instead of researching one before the other.
Your structure might work, but bronze is not a good color to represent reinforced steel, which is what the volcanic forge's description says it is.
There are no flail, birth, death, attack, repair, or recover animations for the cinematic automaton, so it would be a ton of work to animate all of those.

I'm not sure how to tackle it.

I mean new textures only for Volcanic Forge. So the anim would look something like this:

I'd be happy to make those attachpoint models for you. I was pretty much just opening Max when I saw your file :) I might need a few days, however.

Another idea I had was about the Automaton upgrades. Hephaestus' revenge would activate their cinematic model, while Volcanic Forge would change the texture to one of those cool metallic effects you have on the colossus, maybe the bronze. (We would need new textures for both the normal and the cinematic model.) Only problem here is that the cinematic model lacks a lot of animations, so not sure how feasible this is. The bones are in the GRN, but they’re completely loose without links or hierarchy.

Not sure about the dark textures. There could be other reasons as well (material settings, textures etc) but for now I'd recommend 7.0 regardless, just to be safe on that particular bug.

The mini Trojan gate is just a target for monkey king to attack while I took the screenshot.

I agree, it would allow players to quickly know if the upgrade has already been researched or not. The right hand attach point was the worst to do, so I felt like taking a small break and releasing what I had done right away.
Sure, we could collaborate. Have you already started adding attachpoints to Monkey King?

Hmm, that's weird it looks like the problem my farms had at first that made them so dark, but I didn't downgrade AMP to 7.0, so how did it fix itself?

Nice!! Love the staff!! What is that mini Trojan Gate doing in the picture?? :-P

I know it says he's hiding the staff but I think for gameplay/visualisation purposes it'd be nice to have him carry the staff openly - if you want I can do the attachpoint work for you, so you can focus on the next MU!? :)

By the way I think I found an AMP bug in version 7.2 that might explain the dark textures that you encountered, so you might want to go back to AMP 7.0 until it's fixed: http://aom.heavengames.com/cgi-bin/forums/display.cgi?action=st&fn=19&tn=29352&st=228#post229
