NVM figured it out.

Go on Controller companion

Profiles > Import, load from file

Browse to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop"

Search for *.ccp - the results will be the profiles you have subscribed to

How does this work? I've subscribed and launched Controller companion. I cant see the profile. I've tried clicking "refresh workshop profiles"

I have bought controller companion, subbed to your item/post, but doesn't seem to be working in MW2 2009. Is there something/a setting that needs to be toggled in game or through controller companion somehow?

Its not hard to figure out. The controls are set to console tactical. If you wanna adjust the controls I recommend you do it via in game. If you want toggle aim, you click on it and when it asks for a key input press the button you want.

I believe I am very close to figuring this out. I just cant seem to move forward or change the toggle aim in game

go into mw2 settings and use hold to aim and not toggle

Amazing thank you. Is there anyway that it could be configured that you need to hold Lt rather than just press it to aim the weapon?

its not perfect how do i get it exactly like xbox?

i know i can change the bindings but ingame i have tried editing the controls and crouch is pausing

and a few other issues.

Increase the sens, in game in mw2 options it will be under mouse, which is controller

first off I just want to say thank you, I can use a controller with mw2 now. do you have any recommended settings for sensitivity? I went into the app and saw mouse speed.. i guess that would be sensitivity for a controller. Any recommended speed that would come close to a controller? this may sound dumb but i am fairly new to PC gaming

Also you can't block users from workshop, just stay bad you don't how to set up a controller for MW2 and you think its my fault, run along.

Maybe your dumbass didn't update your xbox app drivers or mention what controller you're using in the first place. Works for everyone besides someone with an anime profile pic and a private page. thinking.

Connect the controller to the pc via usb, open the xbox app and it should auto update

When you sub its automatically stored in the controller companion, launch the app and the profile should appear.

Your controller disconnecting has nothing to do with this, you might wanna hook up via USB and check for driver updates from the xbox app. This is for the mp portion of the game as well.

Your keys in MW2 must be set to default.

Looking around is really choppy, like theres huge gaps as if you were playing with a really high sens. Also the buttons mapped aren't working correctly like for some reason the left bumper plays/pauses my music, or down on the dpad doesnt' even work and the buttons don't either, I have to click the right bumper in order to act as the A button. (this is for 360 controller)

It auto downloads. when you open CC it should be under profiles.
