Report a translation problem
The spirtes addon is not compatible, breaks fire and makes particles not look NG, but rather retro.
Purlins blast particles still look kinda low rez after uninstalling it, not sure if thats just part of the new update or im just used to NG enhancing them.
The only way to make a truly HD version of Turok is to reproduce all the textures from scratch or their source material, and it must be done with great care not to drift too far from the original vision of the game.
As for the difference this makes, it's subtle in some areas but if you compare two screenshots you can clearly see the general improvement https://imgsli.com/Mjg3Mw/2/3
I feel that texture pack doesn't change anything
