Three factions for all sides for the 2035 "Futura" setting, inspired by the idea of an EuroArmy (or Unified European Army), in woodland, arctic and arid camo.

The EUDF is comparable to other big vanilla factions, such as NATO or CSAT, with a healthy variety of vehicles, equipment and groups, all based on and expanded from vanilla.

A lot of infantry gear requires Contact to experience fully (Promet, Modular Carrier Vests, etc). The version of the Granit uniform used by EUDF units has no armor, as it's simple clothing and it should be used in combination with ballistic vests.

Optional content
The factions include some units, vehicles and gear only available if you own the listed CDLCs below or their compatibility data. If you don't own, don't download the data or don't have them activated, you just won't be able to see them in the faction roster.
  • Western Sahara (Data for Non-Owners)
Adds: Marshall ATGM, Mortar and CV variants, Zamak Cargo and Flatbed. Replaces the Marshall in all mechanized inf groups with the ATGM version.
  • Reaction Forces (Data for Non-Owners)
Adds: Cougar helicopter. Commando mortar and gunner. Recon and DA JTAC with RC-40 drone grenades. Replaces the default EUDF crates with versions that include all the mentioned infantry content.

Recommendations
  • Capsule - It fixes the vanilla Promet sound when suppressed. Not needed if you are using a sound replacement mod, such as JSRS. although it contains many other useful fixes.

Texture templates:
  • IndeedPete (Kuma, Mora)

Other:
  • xakuda (Snowmobile)
The arctic version also includes the snowmobile by Xacuda which, if the machine translation hasn't fooled me, has open permissions to integrate in other mods.
  • ALiVE team (crates and preview images via ALiVE Orbat Creator)
  • BI, Rotators Collective (for the provided templates and, obviously, for their base content)

@kenoxite - Starting today, this is the best, easiest, and fastest way for mission builders to get a large number of Arma-compatible units. I hope the modder continues to expand his mod, e.g., adapting and retexturing even more CDLC vehicles and weapons, especially the guns.
By the way, I thought the new bushy helmets were a great idea for the units.
A must-have for all Armaholics, believe me, I know what I'm talking about.
I'll keep my fingers crossed...

Updated with parade officers, military police and made the factions available for BLUFOR and OPFOR.

Feel free to report any bug you find, but I consider this project as feature locked , so no more requests will be implemented.

Happy gaming!

It stands for Direct Action. Used to define mission types, roles, etc. in a special operation where the units are expected to come really close and cozy with the enemy.

So, basically, if you want to raid or sabotage an outpost where there's known enemy presence, use the DA kit. If you just want to scout and laze targets use the default recon units.

Note that the default recon guys are very squishy, not wearing ballistic vests, while the DA guys have the whole shebang SF Operator Tier 1 stuff. So, feel free to edit their loadout and give them any and all the OP stuff you can think of if you find their default loadout lacking.

Great work, I've been playing around with it in DRO and its loads of fun! Just a quick question, though: What does "DA" stand for?
