A modification I finally decided to fix after a long time, simply because I really like it.
While playing it in singleplayer or co-op, I encountered a lot of issues that made progression very difficult or in some cases, completely impossible.

Improvements and fixes, both minor and major:
  • All maps are now surrounded by a "killer" (which doesn’t kill the player).
  • Vehicles no longer kill the player.
  • A large number of both permanent and temporary portals have been added in co-op, especially in places where they normally shouldn’t be to prevent softlocks.
  • Door behavior in various rooms has been adjusted some doors used to close too early or didn’t open at all.
  • Many spawners that were stuck inside textures have been fixed.
  • Adding new sectors to models for proper functionality, as the game sometimes expects the player to go beyond the map boundaries.
  • Levels no longer crash when attempting to load a save.
  • Fixed several original secrets that either didn’t work correctly or didn’t work at all.
  • It is now possible to complete the campaign with 100% stats.
  • And many other small fixes.

Some of these changes might seem unnecessary to you but in my opinion, they’re absolutely essential, especially for co-op gameplay, as the pace is much more dynamic compared to the vanilla experience.

If you're a fan of the old carnage with all its quirks and chaos, then this one’s probably not for you :)
