BYZ Zeno

The Zeno is a heavily armed industrial ship, with a focus on independence and flexibility. It is built around a complete production core that is complemented by a gas collection and processing line, enabling the production of late-game commodities in a single ship. This ship can carry out resource extraction missions in extremely remote sectors due to its solar arrays and large fuel reserves, while a robust habitation cluster sustains crew on long voyages. The forward-mounted 16-cannon battery will strike fear into the heart of any hostiles lurking in remote sectors.

The Byzantium Shipyards industrial fleet relies on a network of small, lightly armored, highly specialized ships. This approach does not work well across the new frontier opened by the Stargate Project. To fully capitalize the opportunities in the new sector, Byzantium Shipyards needed an industrial ship that could operate for long periods without support and also engage many hostiles at once, creating the Zeno to fill this gap.
