The ultimate version of the most complete Versus Mod ever returns back to Serious Sam HD, for a final rush!

I personally suggest to play with Ultra Graphics and a bit more "vivid" colors.
Most of maps are baked and optimized for low-pcs, but I can't do Croteam's work and optimize the engine at low-level programming, and in some maps it may result in a bad performance.

All features in this mod are developed to create the best Serious Sam Versus Experience possibile.
This means it is at the same time very hard and balanced, and very funny.

----> COMPATIBILITY:
Compatible with every other mod that does not affect versus weapon damage and specs, and does not change red screen post processing (very important!). To avoid Serious bugs, you Seriously need to deactivate those mods.
Maps and player models are stand alone, so there are still the old ones. No particular issue playing on those with other mods or models.

-Fixed postprocessing "Wound" (Red Screen), more light and less annoying. You can turn it on now.
-Fixed a problem that granted a player to use the grenade launcher spamming faster than the conventional limit.
-Fixed bullet texture and effect (faster, in most of cases).
-Fixed a player movement speed problem on Fort Wars and Royal Purgatory (1on1 version). Now the player runs at the correct speed.

Single Shotgun:
-Damage is set to 56 (-14, -2 for bullet)

Double Shotgun:
-Damage is set to 112 (-28, -2 for bullet)

Minigun:
-Damage is set to 8 (-12, but twice fire speed so it's more like -4)
-The fire speed is doubled. The ammo usage now is finally fixed (+100%)
-The radius of spread is 60% bigger. This means the weapon now is a mid-to-close range gun.
-Spin-Up time set to 0.6 (+0.1)

Tommygun:
-Damage is set to 11 (+1)
-Accuracy is set to maximum (100%)
-Spread is set to minumum (0%). This means the weapon now is very strong at a long range

Rocket Launcher:
-Total damage is set to 115 (-35)
-Area damage still 50
-Fire Speed set to 0.8 (+0.2s)
-Rockets now are faster (15%)
-Area damage is reduced (15%)

Grenade launcher:
-Total damage is still 100
-Area damage set to 50, direct damage set to 50
-Spam Speed set from 0.5 charging to 1.0 (max charge time 0.5, reload 0.5). No more spammy dudes!
-Life time (countdown before grenades explode) is now set to 4 seconds (+1 s)
-In addition, if you switch on fast lights, you will see a new light effect on grenades

Lasergun:
-Damage is now set to 14 (-6)
-Stretch reduced of 30%. This means that lasers now are more tiny and less capable to hit an enemy or stop another projectile
-Increased maximum projectile range enough, so now you are capable to shoot from every distance

Sniper Rifle:
-Damage is set to 60
-Damage in zoom mode is set to 120 (-40)
-Improved zoom mode: faster, more accurate, and improved quick-scope. (min 1.5x, max 5x)
-Added a graphic effect, similar to rail-gun

Double-Colt:
-Damage is now set to 15 (+5)

SBC Cannon:
-Weapon is allowed only on CTF maps!
-Max area damage set to 200
-Min area damage set to 50
-Charging time set to 1.5 (+0.25)
-Now the cannon has a very huge penetration strength when charged at its maximum
-Cannonballs explode after 5 seconds, with a deadly explosion


----> WHY THOSE CHANGES:

I'm sure some people will not agree, mainly because this version of the game is completely different from the standard one.
Or sometimes people is just insanely scared by a simple word: "changes".
So I want to explain here the reasons why I decided to build this personal version of versus gameplay.

First of all, why I lowered most of damages?
I really think that spawnkills are dumb, and with the mod the spam will be less effective. Simply random spam is not so worthy. Every shot must be accurate, and every shot does the right damage. Come on, it's the same thing on UT or Quake.
Every weapon now has a proper use depending on the situation. For example, minigun is very strong in close range, but tommygun is really effective at a long range. Doublegun is still the best weapon for istant massive damage dealing at close and mid range.
Rockets and explosives need more accuracy, the same goes for the previously overpowered lasergun.
Sniper is still considered as a powerup.
And now with less damage fightings will be a little bit longer, but at the same time more balanced. It simply changes gamestyle into a more tactical one.
Don't worry, in most of maps I lowered armor and health pickups too.

Second, why did I change maps so much?
Because believe me, they were terrible.
Every decent Quake or Unreal Tournament player would agree: most of maps are a random ♥♥♥♥. Structure. Powerup position. Corners, hallways.
And so I decided to fix these problems with a help from my friends.
I added some corners, some new ways, a new teleport once, but more often I only (re)moved some pickups.

Then I fixed some red screen and graphics bugs.
Why not?

And what about CTF maps?
CTF maps now are really funny and crazy. Nothing else. If you really want to make those competitive, this is not the right place.
CTF will never be considered a competitive gamemode, at this point.
So just give up and have fun.

Maybe you can add a new effect from where a player model gets soaked wet in water after swimming.

Hi Ronik, speak in english, please.

Try to uninstall other mods, set correctly the moddable version of the game, and choose properly che gamemode. The mod works properly in most of cases.

Ohh i remember this time when i was played on multi versus :D Today multiplayer is almost dead in Serious Sam :/ Croteam don't want to create new maps for versus or survival so, people in workshop do it for them :D
