Suggestion
I can tell this mod was hard to make and this isnt a problem i have but i thought in the future you could make this for napoleon total war, since a lot of people love that game especially me im like in love with the era just sometimes i wish i could let ai command my units while i focused on the one line unit, if you do not plan on making this anytime thats fine as i do realise there are more popular games you may want to work on first.

I'm sorry for my late reply. I won't be making this mod for Napoleon TW, in part because I don't own that game. So far, the only other TW game that I've made this mod for is Troy. I'm glad you are enjoying the mod here, though. It's ok with both Hambango and I if other modders would like to make a mod like this for other games.

@monke Thank you for the kind offer. The main trouble is that I can't guarantee in advance that I'll be able to create this mod for Napolean TW. With this kind of modding, it's often tough to know what's possible and what's not possible until I have access to the files and the game so that I can play around with them.

@LanceSpezzate I can't say for sure, since I haven't looked at the Empire scripts. The main place to start would be to see whether the game has something like the AI Planner (https://chadvandy.github.io/tw_modding_resources/battle/ai_planner.html), which Warhammer and Troy both make use of through the Script AI Planner (https://chadvandy.github.io/tw_modding_resources/battle/script_ai_planner.html). As long as an AI Planner is functional in other Total War games and modders have access to them, then I imagine that it would be possible to make an AI General mod for those games.

If an AI Planner of some kind is not available, the fallback would be to see if Unitcontrollers were available to modders either directly or indirectly (https://chadvandy.github.io/tw_modding_resources/battle/battle_unitcontroller.html). If so, they could be used create something like your own AI Planner. That would be more work and might not be as effective in certain situations, but at least it's something to consider.
