Bug Report! (Closed, Use new Bug Report Discussion)
To help me organize all the incoming bugs i am creating a bug report discussion.

Please post bugs in the following format

Title: (What ever you want to call your bug)

Bug: (What the bug does, be descriptive so I can find it)

Recreation process: (step by step of what you did, or how you created the bug, if you can test bugs more than once to be sure it's not a phantom glitch i would be much appreciated as well)

Phantom Glitch: (let me know here if it's a phantom or not... I will try and solve them as i can)

still can't get past the first mission... there is no place to jack in at the warehouse.. I get past the main gate but when he says "there it is" there is no terminal to jack in.. i'm looking forward to playing this mod please fix it

black ice i recommend you uninstall your version of this mod and reinstall it.

Your currently on an outdated version.

Davis Dies Bug

When Davis died the game kept going.

I was in Halloweener front area. I clicked on the door and was shot by the troll. After three rounds Davis died.

Stuck in Holloweener's Elevator and Bones' can't be interacted with Bug

I decided to kill all the Holloweeners and when I get to Bones you can't talk to him or interact with him in anyway. Decided to go back down the elevator and go back up again to see if it would fix it but I get stuck in the elevator the way back up.

Ditto for me. But it was in trying to exploit the doors. Namely I was low on health so i would go in the elevator wait a turn and return guns blazing.

Interesting, from memory serves engaging any halloweeners should set their hostile counter to 1+ and bones should be hostile when entering his region after an onscreen effect. Can't fix this issue till I get back to my pc sadly

First, I would like to tell you that your UGC is one of the best so far.

But I have discovered two bugs:

  • During the second matrix run "neutral rounds" were executed (after the ICs round).
    Here, the game has stopped. I could solve the problem by I have opened and closed the game menu. Then I clicked into the matrix and the game switched to the next neutral turn.
    I had to repeat for each round until to my character's turn. After this I could react as usual (until the next neutral turns).
  • After completing the run the credits appears with a "continue" button. This button did not bring me back to the main menu. I had to restart the game.


(Hope you can understand what I mean. I should put some Karma into my english skills ;))

Ahh the epilogue function does add a contour button, but it in fact just takes you to the designer credits. You reached the intended end of the scenario thus far(I have allot more written but its not near polished enough yet). I know ticked he neutral rounds as well, I believe them I be Dax and others. Will have to set all npc's on that nap to bin combative

Great story, looking forward to lots more. Battles and hacking are tough, but doable. Stuck on the 2nd level of the Haloweeners though. At the moment the last 3 characters in the room on the end just hang around idle, they don't speak to you and ignore you completely.

You can go down in the lift, but when you go back up, it doesn't open again.

Bad Decision Bug

In the Halloweeners hideout, in Bones' office, when you choose the option that results in a mass battle. Firstly, it's impossible to win. Which is fine, but when you die, the game doesn't end or let you restart.

The screen is semi-faded to black, I can hear enemies still moving around but the turn counter is stuck on one last red pip.

It's ok to put an unwinnable battle in the game, but we need to be able to restart once we realise how big a mistake we made.

Yup I agree content release was rushed as I was leaving town for a week and wanted to give you guys more to enjoy

I worked on it to about an hour after I was supposed to have left lol

Great module! Very fun. Aside from small spelling issues the biggest problem I saw was at the very end, when your credits thing shows up can't click "continue" to exit. Have to force off SRR.

Doh and it was already reported. Sorry!

It's cool. Sadly I can't fix anything for a week! Should have had my pc fed-exes to the wedding location.

I suppose we all will have to suffer.

I've discovered a possible bug.
I call it the McGuffin bug. Whenever I jack into the McGuffin, in the second round of matrix combat, the game moves into "Neutral turn" and basically stops. I was able to recreate the bug, which doesn't seem to be tied to my location during the combat.

1) If you run out of the matrix and jack back in, then you 'skip stages' (for example, jack into crisus, you get level1 enemies. jack right out, jack back in, now you get the level2 enemies. jack out again, jack back in, you get level 3, jack out, jack back in, and you've 'won'. this is true with all decking missions in the mod.

2) the haloweeners outside killed my davis and my troll and only the woman was left alive, and I could continue the playthrough and enter the haloweener compound just with her, without those dead characters. definitely a bug
