My issue is more of the weird UI bug that happens when I try to select gods. Oddly enough when I minimized to post this screenshot, the game maximized and the UI was fixed. Many GP icons still remain vanilla with vanilla descriptions though.
I really like the idea of LOME but i ran into some bugs. Maybe its just me, or maybe these are known, but eitherway here is the list of a few factions i have played:
Aule:
2 oxe carts spawn at the beginning.
Can summon a healing spring at age 1.
Medidain plants arent visible and wont move.
Dwarven axe trowers cant build but have build icons and do not show how much DMG they can do. (They only trow axe’s to infantry)
Farm / hunting upgrades not available at dwarven storehouses.
Hero’s build slot get each age replaced with “new” hero. Which makes the old hero’s unable to build. (Like, fili cant be build any more in the 4th age)
Black drake CANNOT be killed while resting and does allot of dmg.
Mandos:
Fertile soil can be build in age 1. But cant be farmed upon or do anything.
Foundry will keep a “buildplot” icon, even when builded.
Cant upgrade farms anywhere.
Small wall plots CANT be build. They just lay unfinished on the ground and cannot be tasked to build.
Losoth shaman becomes invisible when picking up a relic.
Old forest Huorn cost no population, so u can build “Infinite” of them which is kinda OP.
Manarhuan cost no population.
Throwing axeman can build a armory.
Javelin tosser’s regenerate health and are spawned (build) with half health.
Forodwaith berseker look like old AOM berseker units.
Lorien:
Voices are from the Norse infantry.
Dunedain Rangers, To transform them to melee does not cost resources, to transform them back to archers does cost resources. Also, cant pickup any resources while it is in their description.
Faerie, dont cost any population. Faerie trap cant be placed.
Walls display always stays the lvl 1 wall.
halbarad looks like arkantos.
After doing the favour grand 5 times, cant get any more favour fort the rest of the game.
Dunedain Archer display is all black.
Orome:
Closed gate’s display is all white, when ito pens it has a normal display.
The weaver upgrade does NOT give more armor piercing. While it says, “makes impervious to pierce attack”
Maiar spirit keeps spawning from town center and dies after +/- 20 sec.
Cant build normal infantry, cant build gondor units. (only flag bearers which dont do anything)
Horses have super speed, which makes orome (in my opinion) to overpowered, u can just rust the horses at villagers and be gone before any army has arived.
Melkor:
uruk hai crossbowman display bugged.
(Not tested yet, only saw the enemy)
All:
Vlag bearer bonusses not working.
Town centers do NOT attack
"ME Defender" Only builds 1 wall layer around his base, does not build an army and never attacks.
Other nations i havent tested yet, if u want. I can keep testing everything and updating this review.
Hey, set the AI type to something else then "ME Standard" This would fix this problem.
