When I try to run the gamelink.bat as administrator, I get the following error in the command prompt:
The system cannot find the path specified.
The syntax of the command is incorrect.
Could not link - mklink failed.
Press any key to continue . . .
My game won't launch at all, either through the .bat files or the steam launcher, even with the launch options set. Can someone help? The weird thing is, it launched yesterday just fine.
Steamapps/common/Black Mesa
Anyone having problem with audio glitches, you have to do the following to fix it:
your destination should look like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Black Mesa\bshift
Delete any files that contains "sound.cache" name in bshift folder and delete sound.cache file in the sound folder. It should be 6 files in total.
And by the way, beginning of focal point too lagging
These crashes started back when Captive Freight got an update(not its original release).
It seems to happen after maybe 20 to 40 minutes during some scripted scenes. The screen goes black, the audio loops the same second over and over. I can't Ctr-Alt-Del, or get any response from my pc and I have to do a forced shutdown.
So far I've crashed in Duty Calls when meeting the scientist trapped in the airlock. Then when first meeting the technician in the Canals. After restarting my computer I can load my last save and continue on past that point.
I just ran through the base game up to We've Got Hostiles with no issues. This is unique to the Blue Shift.
It generated a steam crash dump but I don't know if that would help or how to post it to you.

Happens randomly.
Every graphics setting maxed. I experienced the bug first (and often) when the "big crystal" changes the colorscheme.
Seems also happen regularly when manually loading and saving.
Not sure what you mean other apps running in background. I have som sys.monitoring SW regarding my AIO, Steam, GOG, Epic, Discord, Steelseries GG, Bitdefender running. But they should have more than enough room in my RAM.
According to overlay when playing Blue Shift it uses ~16GB RAM and ~7GB VRAM. I have plenty enough to spare in both regards.
