Issues I've discovered and Suggestions
Bugs and Issues:
  • The Scar 17 says it's for 5.56x45mm in the trivia section when by default the magazine is clearly that of the 7.62x51mm Scar-H
  • When the carry handle is equipped on the M4A1-S, the front sight is way too far forward
  • The M4A4 50 round drum actually has a capacity of 45 rounds instead of the intended 50
  • When equipping a Muzzle Break, it looks odd on the M4A4 because the flash hider that's on there by default doesn't go away
  • When there's an optic installed and the M203 sights, the aiming for the M203 breaks completely (on any gun)
  • The AK 7.62x39mm extended magazine should be a 40 round one while the AK-74 5.45x39mm should be a 45 round (this is kind of a nitpick but I think it'd be better for the RPK-74 build since it lacks the drum mags in 5.45)
  • Scar 20 shows the crosshair when no scope is attached and the sights are aimed
  • The Dual MP9s and Dual Sawed Offs don't have functioning camos
  • Dual Sawed Offs have a blank HUD icon
  • MP9 20 round magazine is a 21 round magazine, with +1 in the chamber bringing it to 22
  • UMP45 12 round magazine has a 15 round capacity
  • G3SG1 60 round NATO mag (5.56) has a 30 round capacity instead
  • (Minor Nitpick) The MP5 extended mag should imo be a 40 or 50 round mag
  • (Minor Nitpick) The AUG extended mag should be a 42 round magazine
  • Upon level load (specifically when the map changes to the next level), sometimes the currently equipped weapon breaks and causes it to be unusable unless dropped and grabbed again from the spawnmenu (issue with base ARC9 that I'm putting here anyway, I will try and get it again to report it on the base's steam page instead)

Suggestions:
  • Dragon's Breath for Shotguns
  • Incediary Bullets that deal less damage overall but have the chance to set enemies on fire? (unsure on this one)
  • HE ammo for the Desert Eagle (+dual version), I think it makes sense since it's .50 calibre
  • Shotgun Ammo types for the M249 with 12 Gauge attachment (if possible)
  • Carry Handle for the M4A4 modelled after something from like the more modern M16A4
  • Colt x3 Optic for use on the M16/M4 carry handle (for an old 1970s feel)
  • M16A2 handguard for the M4A1-S instead of the M16A4 handguard
  • "Factory Barrel" or something similar for the M4A4 that has the M4A1 length (368mm (14.5 in)) compared to the normal MK18 CQBR (262mm (10.3 in)) barrel of the M4A4 (retains the modular picatinny rail handguard). My reasoning behind this is that the M4A1-S has a more old school feeling to it compared to the more modern more modular feel of the M4A4 and I think the 14.5 in barrel would unlock a lot more options for customisation
  • More grenade launcher types (like the GP-25, Steyr GL40 for the AUG, FN40GL for the Scar, M320/AG36/AG-C) (+their sighting systems)
  • Different Ammo types for grenade launchers
  • Iron Sights for the AUG
  • The classic telescoping collapsible stock for the M249 Para
  • P90 Factory scope
  • PSO-1 Scope for the AK that attaches to the dovetail rail mount
  • Sniper barrel, magazine and stock for the AK (Romanian PSL style) (chambered in 7.62x54mmR)
  • Romanian Grip for the AK
  • Optics like the OKP-7, Kobra sight or PK-AS attach directly to the dovetail rail mount since they have the ability to do that irl (when there's no riser attached)
  • 6x-3x red ring scope from ins:s for more scope options and variety

Why I didn't use the linked github:
It's because I don't have an account there and I didn't find the place for suggestions or bugs since the UI is not clear to me, plus I didn't see much activity compared to the steam forums so I decided that maybe it'd be better if I put it here

I am otherwise loving this package, the weapons feel great and the attachments are great too; I want to see it become better in the future which is why I created this rather large list of stuff I'd like to see in (or fixed for the bugs) (I should mention also that none except the last one cause a console error)

As gone over on GitHub, a few of the issues you've listed have been fixed over there and will be fixed on the Workshop version once the next update is finished.

Apart from that, let's go over some of the things you left out on GitHub, including suggestions:

Won't list all of them, fyi

  • The error regarding level load is, as you say, an ARC9 related error and is not tied to GSR.

  • Dragon's Breath would be pretty cool. Could consider.
  • Incendiary rounds? I'd say no, mainly as a balance reason.
  • Explosive rounds on the Desert Eagle might be dumb fun more than being effective. Could consider.
  • Shotgun ammo types on the M249 when using the 12-Gauge magazine attachment makes sense. Will see if that can be implemented.
  • Various grenade launcher types will be difficult as they all need to be modelled and animated. Maybe in the future, maybe not.
  • Ammo types on the GL would be cool. Might look into how that can be implemented.

  • The rest I have no comment on as of right now.

hey, when i load in gmod, all the guns have some peices of them that are missing, and the gun doesnt shoot either. i downloaded the escape from tarkov shared, and the arc9 base . idk if there is something else that i need to download but i would really be thankfull if you could help me out
