FAQ

#1

Q. My game is not working. It crashes back to the menu after selecting the difficulty. What should I do?

A.

Your game isn't starting because you haven't subscribed to the 3rd party UGC content used in the GitS mod. All of the needed mods can be found and subscribed to here on the Workshop, and they are linked to in the description. In addition, I know there is at least one existing collection that bundles my UGC with the other modules, if you would rather have it all packaged together.

Q. English isn't my native language. Can you translate this?

A.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time nor the ability to translate into the variety of languages out there. I wish I could since I want everyone to enjoy the content, but it's just not going to happen. Sorry! Community translations is something I would definitely support, as long as the person(s) get into contact with me first.

Q. This was great! Where can I get more GitS content, and are you making any more?

A.

First, thanks for playing! I hope you enjoyed playing it as much as I enjoyed making it. Second, I do have plans for a full-fledged, 3-act GitS UGC made in Shadowrun Returns. It would take place between 2029 and 2031, directly after the Puppeteer incident in the original movie and before Stand Alone Complex would start.

This specific UGC module was just a proof-of-concept where I used a pre-defined character: the new mod would start fresh and let players make whatever they want, though obviously I wouldn't recommend Shamans or Mages among other things.

This content is currently on hold until Hong Kong comes along with all of its wonderful East-Asian themed props and assets that I desperately need to give people the proper GitS experience. So, the dream is still alive.

In the meantime, I'll be working on more Shadowrun-centric stuff!
