How to Play Evidence Mode
Hello, like you I was wondering how evidence mode worked and what the evidence looked like. I have seen/heard five out of the six kinds of evidence you can find on the map. This guide is here to give you some heads up on what to look for when playing on evidence mode as well as how it works to my knowledge.

When does evidence spawn?

The first thing to know when playing evidence mode is learning when evidence spawns into the map. I'm fairly certain that it starts around Round Five, however I wasn't looking too closely so it may have started sooner. Evidence for one specific boss will spawn per round and may spawn again after a couple of rounds.

How do I submit my guess?

Your guess will be confirmed if a ding will sound at the beginning of the round as well as the boss zombie you chose spawns in. For example, if you picked Mangler and a Mangler spawns, you got it correct. You may also get a free perk for guessing correctly.

What does evidence look like?

Now for what you are probably here for: the evidence. I still don't know all locations and sounds, but I'm fairly certain you can figure out some with some process of elimination.

Voice

Voice is fairly simple. If you hear breathing or shouting or whispering at the beginning of the round that isn't the normal zombie noises, it's a probably some voice evidence.

Writing

When a round starts and hear what sound like knocking somewhere, take a look on the walls for the word "Help" written in chalk. Check for mostly flat surfaces with nothing on them before.

Hallucinations

My favorite piece of evidence since it is very easy to see. What is very easy to see? Fake perk machines. The real ones on the map are in the Cold War style while the fake ones are in their classic looks. There may be a floating teddy bear near the entrance to the prison, this is not a hallucination, I have no idea what it is!

Summons

If dogs spawn in, it is a summon.

Lights

There are red lights throughout the prison. If any of these turn on, you have light evidence.

UV

Unfortunately, I have no idea where any of the UV areas are. I don't know if it is because of the map or poor timing for me, but I never saw what the UV evidence looks like. If I had to guess, it would look like the green fingerprints from Phasmophobia itself.

Thank you for reading, I hope I made your next ghost hunt a little easier.
