Guide for Normal and Advanced
Hi, wanted to start a mini discussion regarding the proper chain of habiliatting stuff in this mod.

I've been playing a lot with bots and went I switch to real players, everyone wants to bang-up at the console and we get screwed. Still, some buddies and me managed to finish it in both Normal and Advanced. Some tips:

1.- Before hand make sure everyone understands what is all about, some want to build the rocket right-away (no), some want to unlock everything (no, no) and some want to build stuff that is not needed, like the truck (a big NO!!).

2.- The Bile Jar is one (the) of the most important items in the game. Then you gonna need guns. A good starting path or chain goes liek this: Airtank - Bile Jar - Pistol - SMG - Adrenaline - Pills.

3.- An M60 is cool to use and have but very lenghty to obtain; also, shotguns are very limited and the good ones require a lot of unlocking.

4.- A Tank is going to appear sooner or later. Be prepared: everyone has to have at list 2 pistols and/or SMG, also it helps if something is in place...

5.- When starting, one person (A) has to go straight to the console and unlock the bile jar as soon as possible. It will take 25 secs, if I'm not mistaken, plus 5 sec to equip. During that time all the others must be in the front, on the lookout for zombies and the special infected. One of them (B) can start building one or 2 link fences on the front. The others must be quick to protect him and the one at the console from Smokers, Jockeys and Hunters, or all the unlocking will be lost.

6.- After the Bile Jar is unlocked and equipped, A moves to the front. A horde is coming for sure. Throw it at the farthest end of the warehouse or hangar and start shooting with C and D to thin their numbers!! Meanwhile, B has moved to the console to unlock Pistol and SMG (some 30 seconds). While B is busy, A has to move back and grab a Pistol and a Bile Jar (10sec). The duration of the effect of the Bile Jar in the zombies is roughly 18-20 secs, so A must go back to the front and be prepared to throw the 2nd Bile Jar.

7.- As A is throwing the Bile Jar, C and D must move to the back and grab a pistol and a SMG. Take turns: one equips the Pistol while the other grabs an SMG. Then switch. They can agree on having B to the front lines, but not before he grabs a Pistol and SMG (he should have done it before already, at least the Pistol) and a Bile Jar, and joins A to thin the numbers further. By then, the effect of the 2nd Bile Jar has just wore off. Be on the lookout for Special Infected and an upcoming Tank. After A throws the Bile Jar (3rd one), he could either dispatch some zombies or build a third link fence, preferably the one on the left corner, next to the concrete barrier, because...

8.- The Tank is here. Believe me, even if you are super quick, chances are that the Molotov and Gas Tank are not unlocked. Doesn't matter. Don't use a Bile Jar on the Tank! It is a rookie mistake since Zombies will not continue to flow in unless you throw a Bile Jar. In Normal, the 4 can easily take a tank without any hassle. In Advance a good legwork could put some distance betwen the players and the Tank, but the fences here are very useful for shooting him without getting any damage (you shouldn't get hit by the Tank because you can't heal yourselves yet.

9.- As the Tank dies, you all have 10-15 seconds before the next wave comes up. One should go to the console (let's say C) and grab a Bile Jar (4th one), while another one (A) builds a 4th fence (the third on the front), just before the horde comes out. Throw the Bile Jar (again, as far as possible) and quickly go and grab another one. This adds 15-20 sec of breathing time. Both A and C need to be watching for Special Infected. Meanwhile, B and D dashed to the console after defeating the Tank. They have a total of 30 seconds (possibly more) to: B unlocks Adrenaline and Pills (20-25 secs) and equips either, while D unlocks Gas Tank and Molotov (25-30secs). D won't have time to equip neither, but it is OK. As the effect of the 4th Bile Jar is wearing off, C can throw off the 5th Bile Jar and head to the console.

At that moment there are 3 branches unlocked: 1) Airtank-Bile Jar-Gas Tank-Molotov 2)Pistol-SMG 3) Adrenaline -Pills. If anyone endured some damage from the Tank or any Special Infected, equip pills and then equip some adrenaline. Bear in mind that B has some Pills and is reunited with A and D in case any of the two needs it. So, if everyone is OK, you have 20sec for the following: Equip Bile Jar, then a Molotov (Bile Jar drops to the floor), then another Bile Jar and head to the front.

10.- C comes up and throws a Bile Jar (6th one) as the previous one is wearing off. A, B and D are thinning the baddies and watching for Special Infected. Two of them can head back to the console to do the trickiest part. Let's say A and D: D grabs the Bile Jar on the floor (7th) and heads back to the front, while A unlocks the defining piece missing. No, is not the Med Kit (sorry), is the Ammo Pile! It takes 30 sec to unlock it but it is worth it. Remember that SMGs have limited ammo and all are running low (thanks God for Second Pistol holders!). A has 35-40 secs (C throwed the 6th Bile Jar and as soon as it wears offs, D throws the 7th one for a total time of 35-40 secs) or maybe not: the 2nd Tank is here! A finishes the Ammo Pile and grabs the Molotov on the ground (not really needed but it is there, ;->).

11.- Take care of the Tank, everyone grabs some ammo and B and D head back to the console: One starts piling up Bile Jars and Molotovs (2-3 of each) and D unlocks Med Kit (finally!). The team has 10 sec before any Special Infected wanders in, so A and C can build additional fences and the concrete barrier to the left. From now on, one equips a Bile Jar and goes to the front and fight with other two, while one stays at the console and starts unlocking the following (not in one go, little by little): Silenced SMG - Riffle - Laser Sights - AK-47. That's it, no additional weapons or items are needed to finish the game on either Normal nor Advanced.

12.- Now the process is at follows: Two are always equipped with a Bile Jar. Throw Bile Jar shot down zombies and Special Infected. Go grab or equip another Bile Jar and some Pills/Adrenaline/Med Kit. The other defend. When the Tanks comes up, use a Molotov. If the 4 have AK-47s, they can stand and kill it without moving. After it is dead, one starts building the Rocket! The Rocket requires ten or twelve 20-sec stretches. If you are in Normal, you just have time to build a section of the Rocket before the zombies come swarming in. In Normal, everytime someone throws a Biel Jar, another one ca continue building up the Rocket, but no need to rush it. In Advance I suggest that you only build the Rocket after defeating the Tank. Others must be in the lookout for Smokers and Spitters since they can pull/push out the one building the Rocket. While waiting one heads to the console and starts piling up Bile Jars and Nolotvs again, and an ocassional Med Kit/Pills.

13.- Most important: have fun! Be fair to all other players: everyone wants a shot at the console and unlock something, that's the appeal of the mod. You don't need to unlock everything, let others join in.

Thanks to the developer of this great mod, my favorite for the last 2 weeks. Thanks to Steam for this wonderful Workshop and to Valve for this great game (still waiting for L4D thrice or something). Also, I'm really sorry if this is not the place for this, but couldn't find any other place to put this up.

As cool as this is, I think it's more fun to try and wing it and see how it goes instead of having a specific plan.
I was playing with bots, after finish building the rocket, I can't end the game yet.
I did step into the cabin, but nothing happened. Is it all the crews needed to be inside the cabin as well? So sad that the bot won't move in.

Well i didn't have a issue with bots and beside i won with bots without players helping me get through it.

Very hard with bots, since they don't contribute to any progres, but simply shoot (and not efficiently). To win, you have to wait until bots climb those freaking stairs or teleport, which happens eventually. Easier during grace period after tank.
The 3 link fences on front are insanely usefull. So are gas can / molotovs. A single well placed gas can blocks zombie waves for long enough so you can build one step of the rocket (even in solo with bots). Gas can + fences + smg is enough to take care of tanks as well. You're in no rush to kill tanks, as long as you don't take damage from them, since they prevent zombies and specials to spawn. There's a world in which you even delay the killing blow on the tank to allow human mates to build more stuff.
Don't underestimate the medkit : once unlocked, it's 5 seconds to get, for permanent HP vs 5 seconds, for temporary HP. Add 5s to use vs 1s, you still save time in the long run. And completing the rocket takes quite some time.
My personal build order is : pistol, smg, air tank, gas can, link fences, ammo pile, link fences, adre, link fences, pills, medkit, rocket...
Grab one gas can as soon as available, and, from there, each time fire's extinguished.
