(REVIEW) Bring 3 friends and play on Normal difficulty.
Intro - This map is not very good.

I like the premise of the map, and I like the idea of a progression system, since Left 4 Dead normally doesn't have one. I like the concept of upgrading your weapons and building barricades.

But the spawns on this map are absolutely ridiculous. I'll begin listing off the 4 biggest issues I have that in my eyes, ruin what could be a great and fun custom map.

1 - The intro cutscene.
The problem with the intro cutscene is that it takes control away from the players to show them how the map works. That's fine as long as the survivors are put into god-mode, but here they are not. Most of the time, you will be getting attacked by infected at the beginning with no method of defending yourself.

2 - The endless horde.
This game throws an endless horde at you the moment you spawn in. Remember, the map doesn't give you any starting weapons, you have to unlock them. Most Left 4 Dead veterans know that the Common Infected are your biggest threat. Here, you're being swarmed like a beehive with no way to defend yourself besides a weak pistol that deals 1/3 of a Common's HP.

3 - The Tank.
The Tank is thrown at you almost immediately. You get about 40 seconds to prepare and then the Tank comes. That may sound manageable, but due to how long it takes to unlock weaponry, you will likely only have an SMG at best when the Tank comes to beat the living hell out of you. Valve did not design the Tank to appear when the survivors don't have any weapons or supplies. You're not given any time at all to heal or rest after being pummeled mercilessly by the horde before the Tank comes in for Round 2. This issue is extremely apparent on Expert, where the Tank is a force to be reckoned with.

4 - This map is very solo unfriendly.
Due to the bots not understanding the premise of the map, they will just stand around and attack with their pistols. This isn't an issue if you got 3 friends to play with, but for solo players, this is a huge deal-breaker. As they basically have to do all of the work themselves. There's no true way to fix this due to how the bots are coded, but again, I'd like some starting weapons that the bots can use so they can at least try to be helpful.

Conclusion - Verdict and possible fixes.
This map has a cool premise and a fun gimmick, but unfortunately it's ruined by absurd spawnrates, unfair Tank battles, the bots having no clue what they're doing, and being hit while you're defenseless. This map was clearly designed for a someone with 3 experienced friends and someone playing on Normal difficulty. If you don't meet those criteria, you're likely not going to have fun playing this map. Which is honestly a shame, because I see potential in this map. It could be very fun, if those 4 issues I mentioned above were fixed. This map is not solo friendly and it is certainly not Expert friendly.
