Currently, i feel like it's a slightly bit lacking in terms of addon support, while may be low-priority (which i fully understand) but i feel like Vmanip stims or night vision support would do wonders for the creativity of loadouts and etc. I have played this a bunch and it would also be a bit nice for more "ranged" enemies for antlions/zombies, but just a personal opinion.
