Strategy tips
Forget everything you know about Plague Inc strategies -- none of it will help you here :-)

This scenario is like a sequel to a failed game of Plague Inc, in which 2% of the world's population have survived the disease. But every government has collapsed, every country is in total anarchy, and there are no open ports or airports.


You must bring order to every country -- taking them from "total anarchy" to "business as usual" -- and there are three unique approaches, each with its own set of challenges:

Stategy 1 - Propaganda
Start a revolution in every country, using propaganda to gain support while fighting against opposition. You have air transmission, land transmission, and semi-random spore bursts to infect new countries. This strategy is unpredictable.

Stategy 2 - Money
Establish an economy in every country, using financial tactics to gain support while managing inflation. You have sea transmission, land transmission, and targetted spore bursts to infect new countries. This strategy is very complicated.

Strategy 3 - Force
Establish a regime in every country, using military tactics to gain support while battling an armed insurgency. You have land transmission and trojan planes to infect new countries. This strategy is fairly straightforward.


Each strategy requires a different approach, but there are some general things you can bear in mind to help you with all strategies:

1 - The world map is very different -- most countries are poor now, and only three countries are rich; most countries have fewer than a million people, and only two countries have more than 10 million. Pay special attention to the rich and populous countries, because they'll give you the most trouble.

2 - Look for ways of increasing your DNA points, but use them carefully -- all strategies have traits which affect the number of points you receive (e.g. orange bubble bonus), but they all come with a price to pay (e.g. a negative side-effect).

3 - Don't try to combine traits from more than one strategy -- that's an instant lose!

Tip for Military: Send your first planes to the "bottoms" of all the continents (South Africa, Argentina) and begin to work your way up. Then, when you have a good population base and enough DNA points send a plane to a 1mil country (ex. Canada or UK). This prevents you from losing due to too many causalities because of your pop base and it also allows you to trigger insurgencies when you want them.
