Pathfinding failure on mining ships
I have noticed that it is especially bad with clingon minining ships as they try to drop off resources at the freighter: 10 minutes or so into the game, the clingon mining operation will cease as full mining shuttles will gather around the mining freighter unable to drop off resources due to pathfinding issues.

This is probably due to me changing the minimal avoidance families in an effort to reduce collisions... I'll revert it for the resource collectors

This still seems to be an issue, so far I've only tried Cardassian and Klingon and both have the same issue the OP described.

I have also experienced this error and it has made the game almost unplayable. Hopefully fixed in this new Feb 19-21 update!!
