Because I love the game, and if I can contribute to its development or help others I am happy to do so. I find playing SCUM (as well as posting in the forum here) to be both relaxing and fun; there are some incredible people in the community and I enjoy sharing experiences and learning from and with them. There is also an element of working on my English writing skills but that is secondary.

Finally, my previous "travel blogs", posts on nutrition, rescuing partially built vehicles, and maximising attributes and skills have been a joy to write and share.

I have absolutely no connection to the Devs beyond playing their game, occasionally submitting bug reports, and commenting on suggestions or other topics here. I support what the Devs are doing because I am the kind of person that considers what people have accomplished (e.g.: what they do) rather than on what others say about them (and certainly not what they say about themselves). In my opinion SCUM is a great game!

On the whole they have my (respectful) support and I believe they are a hardworking team that is doing their best to provide a game that appeals to a player base that has many, many viewpoints.

Personal privacy and security are important online and I can not be specific. I will say that the people I work with are delighted that I am there; the competition most definitely is not.

I used to play Minecraft (13,000 hours+) and eventually became a server administrator. After transitioning from Minecraft to SCUM I wanted to understand the games that people on the forum frequently mention so I played a bit of DayZ, Rust, Far Cry, and Sons of the Forest. I have also played the Tomb Raider series, Palworld, Phasmophobia, and Project Castaway. I am a real fan of "The Room" series, Riven, Tiny Glade, Mini Metro, and Cat Detective Albert Wilde.

If there is a badge available for what I have played it probably appears in my Badges section.

First of all, it is a polite and more personal thing to do. Second, if I contributed to a discussion in the past and need to find it again I can simply search the relevant forum section with a few keywords and add my name as an additional keyword. It makes it so much easier!
