Description
"Far into the future, space has become our home. Like our current home, we have been irresponsible. Space is becoming littered with waste and refuse. The Contingency is trying to change it all. Facing resistance from megacorporations all over the universe, they have developed a technology that could revolutionize energy and eradicate waste. The companies that stand to lose trillions of dollars have banded together to stop The Contingency. They call themselves The Exigient Syndicate, and they will stop at nothing to protect their interests."

C:DG is a top-down, space shooter/RPG. It will have NPCs, quests, unique mechanics, and upgradable abilities & equipment. You are a captain who happens to control a one-of-a-kind ship developed to be more space-eco-friendly. It has the unique ability to collect space debris, ionize it and then form it into usable matter. Collecting different types of dust and debris yield different results and abilities.

This is a pre-alpha test. All graphics are temporary placeholders and are in no way indicative of the final visual style. We hope to get our artist working on this project soon.

Next Up:
- Continued work on Dialog system.
- Loading rooms from level files.
- Implimenting Docking, Mining, Warping actions.

- Enemy AI now fires at player.
- Player can die.
- Switched back to original player graphic until we can get some free time with our real artist.

- Vastly improved enemy AI and tracking.
- Enemies can now be shot and destroyed.
- Working on enemy firing mechanisms.

- Improved AI tracking. It is much more natural now.
- Tried creating my own ship graphic... Programmers should not do such things :)

Thanks for the feedback. We are working on the dialog system right now which will open the door for a quick introduction on the controls. We would also love to support gamepads in the future, as we think it would fit well with this game, but it is not an immediate priority.

Cool game! I like the idea of sucking in space dust to create missiles! Very green! Lol
