Description
British Commandos - World War Two

This mod adds re-textured uniforms for Faces of War that are from the British Commandos. Requested by Prime Minister Churchill as a force that could perform precise attacks on German-Occupied Europe, the Britsh Commandos were formed from volunteers to strike back against the Germans. Volunteers from occupied countries joined the ranks as well to part-take in the raids. The Commandos were reformed in 1943 into four Brigades consisting of British Army Commandos and Royal Marine Commandos. Presented in this mod are all four brigades.

Any editing of the files or textures without my authorization is prohibited.

Bug: The Units with the editor and zeus have no value and are not setup properly. This is just a uniform mod so use it custom with the arsenal.

Thank you to Dog Company, 506th for helping with the acting in the video.

This is a really old one I never got around to updating. THey're meant to not spawn with equipment.

For some reason all the commando units in the editor spawn without equipment for me. Am I missing something I have FOW installed?

The issue we have there is utilising the static poses we have available to us - we don't create our own. It might be something we look into in the future, however, it's not currently on our roadmap.

@ghj910201 Press "SUBSCRIBE". Go to your Arma 3 Launcher > Mods (on the left hand side) > Look through "Available mods" until you see "British Commandos Uniforms - World War Two" and select it. You will be told that "Faces of War" is a dependency and that you need to also load this mod (and download it if you have not done so already) and then once both these mods are in the "Loaded mods" section you click "PLAY".

How can you install it, please?

@OKW™The Major Viktor Reznov Yes for sure, I've been learning how to make units and groups and am currently in the process of adding them to my Canadian mods. When that is finalized I will be periodically adding them to the other mods until they are all on par.

@[No.4] NEKO different theatres are currently being mapped out and research is commencing! However, our next installment is extremely large and will take a while to fully complete - so you will have to wait for Africa unfortunately.
