Description
Primary roles: Light Fighter, Shield, Storage, Utility, Vanilla and Reforged Eden

Update 9/13/2021 - Replaced rear ramp with correct version to go all the way to the ground. No other changes were made.

Update 8/16/2021 - Removed two carbon substrate interior blocks that were blocking o2 in a small area of the interior. No other changes were made.

Update Patch 7/4/2021 - Added Shield. To be honest I don't know why it was missing from the BP. Most likely an error on my part when I updated the BP. The stat screen shots already showed this with a shield equipped so no cost differences.

Major Update 5/23/2021 - Ship has been rebuilt from ground up. It is now compatible with Reforged Eden and Vanilla. Reforged Eden players will need to add a basic CPU core in the B slot. The cost of the basic CPU core was added in the Reforged Eden stat screens.

Changes made:

Hull mostly rebuilt (Hardened Steel, armored cockpit). Thrusters and weapons reconfigured. Interior now allows access to the cockpit. The constructors and RCS were removed. Added WiFi, Shield, Pentaxid Tank, Detector, 4K ammo storage, 4K cargo storage. The default weapon config now is: 6 miniguns, 2 laser turrets, 2 homing rocket launchers. Replaced post stat screens to new ones for both Vanilla and Reforged Eden.

Also, I kept the vintage screen shots of the original MX3R at the end of the screen shots section. At this time the Merc-MX3 has not been updated.

The Merc-MX3-R (5/23/2021) rebuild summary

Changes made:

1. CPU tier 1, Size Class 1, Unlock level 12
2. Hardened steel hull, Vanilla and Reforged Eden. Reforged Eden players need to add 1 basic CPU core.
3. Shield, Pentaxid tank, 6 gatling guns, 2 laser turrets, 2 homing rocket launchers
4. 4k Ammo storage, 4K regular storage, Fridge, Armor Locker, Drone Hatch (P-Menu Control)
5. O2 and Dispenser, exterior lights (P menu control)
6. Sensor based lights/doors
7. Interior cockpit access
8. Passenger seat, location to add advanced core (AC-Reforged Eden)
9. Complete rebuild of original Merc-MX3R

hey, I love it! just letting you know, that I adjusted your design to HWS RE server. Did not want to steal your work. Great job man! I will be handing it out to new players to help out.

Added: shield charger and capacitors, warp capability, trauma bay, exta thrusters, CPU extension and will be extending cargo. The basic design is so lovely that i kept it pretty much intact.

Thanks Randolorian! lol. Sorry, this one does not have warp drive. Meant as basic fighter you would move on a capital ship. Well, also too small to fit warp drive with the interior. The Merc-MX5 and up have warp drives.The pentaxid tank is for the shield in this case. And thanks again!

It's nice, but... am I missing something or is there no jump drive? I kinda expected it because there was a pentaxid tank. On my first test fly I found myself barrelling away from a Neodymium asteroid with four interceptors on my tail. Lock in the next moon over, hit the button and.... Han Solo "It's not my fault!" moment :)

@Grollwerk, Thanks again for the heads up. I have now updated the blueprint replacing the rear ramp with the correct model that goes all the way to the ground. Thanks again!

@DraXteR, I took a look at the ship. The B is for a Basic CPU core. The AC is for an advanced CPU core. Both needed for Reforged Eden to up the cpu. I hope that helps. And thanks again!

Thank you ZappPSR, Grollwerk, and DraXteR! @ZappPSR, I know if you are planing on the Anville server there is a custom questline that does reference my name and a couple other authors. I am not sure if this is not from the Anville server thou. @Grollwerk, I will check into that. Thanks for the heads up. @DraXteR, I believe the B is for a Basic CPU core, the A is for an advanced CPU core, and the C is for a constructor. I will get in the game and check soon as well as look at a ramp issue. Thanks again all!

A very nice little scout ship for me. The only minus: Ramp does not get all the way down to the floor. Put it on a flat block and it is easy to see. Anoying cause you have to "jump" into the ship. When you overshoot, you try again :)
