The map began in early 2012 and made some progress for awhile, but then was put on a very long hiatus (Alpha map is the map's last state before revival) then roughly six years later finally gets it's finishing touches and then some! so what is this map exactly?

It's a complete remake of my old map, gm_nebulas_playground except to be much cleaner and to have more space, less clutter and a nicer presentation. This map is a Sandbox map, It's good for building, Racing, and having fun with the Hoverboard Addon. Just as the original was intended for as well.

The features of this map include:

- A nice and deep water surrounding with a visible border, so you'll know when to turn around before hitting the wall. Great for boats and ships!

- A racetrack with a retractable border (Can be lifted and lowered by pressing "E" on the edge of the track, useful for bad racers who need to stay in track!

*The alpha variant does not make use of "gmod_allowphysgun" and "Gmod_allowtools" so the border and door can be altered with the physgun and tools.

- A simple garage, you can build your vehicle in here when you don't want to build in the open.

- An entire hoverboard park, Have fun shredding it up!

- And a pool room, It's purpose is really just for chilling and hanging out, really.


There are four maps that are included:

Extra maps:

gm_nebulas_playground_orig_fix (The original map with fixed lighting and a 3D skybox added)
gm_nebulas_playground_take_two (The old version of this map in it's roughest state. It's only included for history.)

The main maps are:

gm_steventechnos_playground_day (The daytime version of the new revamped map)
gm_steventechnos_playground_night (The nighttime version of the new revamped map)


TL;DR This map is essentially a nice basic open Sandbox map with a dash of style.
