LEVEL CAP 33: PURIST VERSION

Description
Raises the player level cap to 33. Doesn't touch anything to do with player progression before level 20, and everything after is based on extrapolation from main game progression- ie, you get a new power level every 3 character levels because that's how the base game does it, you get one weapon proficiency every 4 levels, etc.

This is a more conservative version of my other mod, which made a few character progression changes in addition to raising the level cap. Feel free to unsubscribe from that one and subscribe to this one, it shouldn't cause any issues with a game in progress (based on my own testing)

UPDATE:
Bug which caused some issues with locks and traps should be all gone now. All my thanks to Brian Macintosh on the Obsidian team who always has time for people who come to him and ask "fix this dumb thing I did"

I'm gonna say to be wary of this mod. You get weapon proficiency on every odd level, so, by the time you reach level 33, you won't be able to read the left side of the screen. Honestly, if one were to update this mode, re-balancing that would be needed. I feel like every 5 levels would be better. It gets silly.

Just completed the game solo with this mod and was very grateful for it. I hit the cap of 33 right before the end and it was truly a blast. Thanks for indulging my need for leveling lol :clenchedfist:

Shouldn't do any harm, this mod would just be redundant. I made two versions of this mod though, the one that class project added which changes a couple of things about level progression, and this "purist" one which keeps the same level progression rate as the base game. If you disabled this mod, depending on where it is in your mod order, you might see that the number of ability/spell points you have available in fights might change slightly. Other than that, you can keep this mod or lose it with no problems either way

@2house2fly Ohh I am already quite far in my playthrough with these mods enabled, will it do harm?

It looks like that mod already includes this one, so you wouldn't need to install this. If you're multiclassing this mod will allow you to hit rows 8 and 9 eventually

Also can I use 8 and 9 row abilities at some point?

Is this compatible with "The New Class Project"

I put your mod before that one and it's working fine. I hope this helps others, if they will have problems like me.

That mod and this one aren't really compatible, as they edit the same parts of the game files. I'd recommend using one or the other, but you could also try swapping them around in the in-game mod manager and see if that helps

Hello I tried to play your mod with "Single & Multiclass progression fixes" but your mod causes that "Single & Multiclass progression fixes" mod not working correctly - after I level up I don't have access to my 8 and 9 abilities, my hero is level 19 multiclass. Please help.
