The Avatar is an enemy alien from XCOM 2 and is the ultimate goal of the Elders and is their reason for occupying Earth. The Avatars are the most powerful psionic beings which the ADVENT possess and serve as bodies for the Ethereals.
Although they may seem perfect, one of them has somehow ended up inside the arena. Now the Avatar must take the ultimate test and prove itself as truly the perfect being.
