Description
Star Trek Ships With Space Battleship Yamato Combination Mod
Mod designed to be played on Extreme Difficulty
Will work WITH or WITHOUT DLC

Plans for Future Updates:
-More Hero Enemies using Special Ships (little idea on this so I need to research more on the wiki/discussions/modding page)
-Rebalance ships
-Earth Empire Allied Start (You'll be allied to the Empire and other Evil Factions)
-2 Empire Space Stations sells both Yamato and Federation ships. (So that you can buy them when you cant access Vigo and Sigil.


Minor update: 2.2:
New updated:
-Fix the bug where you cant buy the ships on kepler station.
-included in the package: Ship models of both DLC with reconfigured model folder paths to allow the game to load and not crashed when you dont have ANY DLC (just base game player). You will still need the respective DLC if you want to use them.
-Included in the package: kepler beam with reconfigured weapon folder paths to allow the game to load and not crashed. You'll need the SoA DLC if you want this weapon to be available for buying. Same goes for the ships.

MAJOR UPDATE v2.0:

-For this mod to work properly with SoA and TITAN DLC, use the "Federation+Yamato" New Game

Why? it's because there's apparently this code: "FileBypass: Spg2 Mods/ModNameHere" that allows you to force load mod files AFTER loading the DLC Files. With this, you NO LONGER need to do manual Patching. Just subscribe to the mod, install it and check mark it so it's active.

Other Changes:
-Yamato can now ONLY be bought on Sigil Shipyard. Refer to the 3rd pic for guidance.
-Yamato Gun can now ONLY be bought on Sigil Shipyard too.
---This changes allows me to remove the "World.ics" file and instead used a seperate "sector_map", this reduces the game breaking bug when trying to do the Titan DLC with this mod. I added some pictures for proof that yamato can now be played with Titan. (Pic. Yamato starting the Titan Quest)

Main Description starts here:

This is a combination of 2 Ship mods.
- Federation Fleet by MiasmaAgent which was last updated on 2014
-Yamato Ship by Yello0w which was last updated on 2016

This mod will work on WITH or Without DLC.

Tested on the following configurations:
Run without any DLC - Fully Compatible
Run with Titan DLC - Fully Compatible
Run with Secrets Of Aethera DLC - Slightly Compatible
Run with Secrets Of Aethera and Titan DLC - Slightly Compatible

Fully Compatible = Will run fine without any bugs popping up.
Slightly Compatible = 1 graphical bug from SoA DLC which I cant fix after a 4hrs+ trial and error.

Bug Details:
Yamato ship mod adds a new Beam + Turret Weapon, it works on SoA DLC but the graphics of the beam have some issues, instead of the long light that you always see on beam type weapons, you'll see the beam as something like a plasma. The turret will keep flashing just like any turret when firing, that's your queue to know that the weapon is still firing. This is just a graphical bug. The weapon stats is still the same.
BUT it's still a beam weapon so if you dont hold the fire button (mouse 1), it'll disappear. See pictures for further visual details.

Ship STATS:
Some ships have been altered to make them a bit more competative and/or similar to the Movie/Anime.

Galaxy class
-Change class to Battleship
-Higher sensor range than other Star Trek ship (3500 or 3000 I think)
-Buff Hull
-Increased cruise speed as well as PTE
-Small buff to weapon power to be able to sustain longer fights.

Sovereign class
-Classed as Carrier so I increase's Hangar Capacity from 1 to 3. (Might Change it to 4 later on)
-Increased cruise speed as well as PTE (Faster than Galaxy)
-Buff Hull

Yamato class
-Make it similar to Anime
-Powerful Beam weapon that can kill enemy ships instantly. (Will drain Weapon power fast)
-Cost 80m ship only, Yamato Gun cost 12m + 8m for additional turret. (Only place the Turret on the 1st light weapon slot and then configure to to become 5/5 turret.) (Both left and right Light turret slot is design for AA or fast firing Rail/Plasma weapon)
-Increased cruise speed as well as PTE (Faster than both)

Where to get:
-Star Trek Ships: Vigo Space Station
-Yamato Titan: Sigil Space Station

Custom Start
-Freeroam has been change to Federation+Yamato start. it will give to 100M as well as start you to lvl 36 (I think) to give you a head start.

Models are beautiful, firing arcs are wonderful!

I have questions about some statistics though. Are these numbers intentional or accidental?

Sovereign Class PTE is 41 seconds. Galaxy class PTE is 21 seconds. These are incredibly long wait times compared to existing ships which range from 1 to 10 seconds, most combat ships falling between about 3 and 7 or so.

Galaxy Class speed is 19, which seems quite slow. Most battleships are around 30 and Dreadnoughts are typically in the mid to upper 20s.

Is Sovereign Class shield regeneration supposed to be 45? It seems a little low for the carrier/dreadnought class. By comparison, as I type this I'm looking at the Wolverine Corvette which has the exact same shield regeneration.

You need to use "SPG2ModManager.exe" in the game folder to install mods. Ignore the internal mod menu as it doesn't work.

I have the same issue as badidol, there is no shipyard option on Vigo.

I dont have Autodesk + Maya right now (No space on SSD). Also, I dont know which format gem warlords use, I got too many mods to maintain on my hand right now and for me to create a new one. So I might pass on creating it for the meantime. But I do have some sby yamato model better than this one, Im just extremely lazy to do any work because they require a LOT of hours. xD :steamfacepalm: :steambored:

were the Yamato not at the station were the star trek ship at do I have to fly all over the place to find it
