Description
General Info
This is a TTT map for up to 48 players. It spans around 3000 square meters (similar to rooftops) and allows Close-quarters combat aswell as high range combat.
The map requires CSS content, the rest is already in GMOD or provided by the addon.


Map Overview
The map consists of four major areas:

  • The castle is the at center of the map. It consists of four towers, a throne room and a toilet. The castle is surrounded by battlements. Below the castle, there are some storage room and there's also enough room to accomodate some secrets...

  • The barn and the surrounding fields are below the castle. The barn itself may seem small from the outside but the medieval farmers knew how to hide their valuables...

  • The mage tower is located on a small floating island. It's an absolute gameplay nightmare because it's very vertical. However, it provides a good position to harass players in the castle from afar.

  • The nether does not really have much to see. It's mainly serves as a passage beween the different portals.

Map Features
In order to facilitate the traitor's mobility, they may activate nether portals. There are five portals in different sections of the map. Three of these portals are in rooms which are primarily accessible by traitors. The other two may also be activated using spheres which can be found on the map.
There are also sufficiently many easter eggs to keep all players busy.

If you have any feedback, ideas, suggestions or concerns, please let me know.
Also, some of the easter eggs may not be properly balanced yet, as many players don't know them and I hence don't have a lot of insight on their dynamics.

If anyone is having the same problem of reflective textures or the ground being a missing texture then open the command chat box thing and type "mat_specular 0" to make them look normal. (: I had the purple textures even with CSS installed and this fixed the problem.

I assume you mean the glass of the barn and the grass floor? Those are CSS textures. Which means that you don't have CSS ressources installed.
I highly recommend that you do so because many maps require CSS textures and models. I could redundantly provide them in the map but if every map maker would do that, that would accumulate a lot of unnecessary data and can even cause unnecessary conflicts.

This map is put together like an old quake 1 map. It's blocky, but not in the way Gmod maps usually are. It's chunky and sort of pleasing in a retro, inexperienced sort of way.

Also, I've never seen anyone do custom breakable glass before. From experience, that's a very tricky VMT to set up
